The staff is amazing at this place! Super accommodating and helpful with advice and the hotel rooms are beautiful. However, the elevator is absolutely horrid, it smells like puke and if you look at the buttons you can clearly see yellow liquid in them. Only complaint about the room is there's no full sized mirror which is a bit of a pain but other than that it's great

Excellent location. Clean rooms, ours was on 2nd floor and faces the side streets it was quiet. Would have been nice if breakfast started earlier than 8am. Due to tour activities we missed breakfast (which we paid extra for) most days.

Gorgeous spot with so much character.

What a stunning hotel!! Steps away from Piazza Navona with plenty of restaurants and shops. So much charm and character, beautiful windows and the rooftop breakfast was AMAZING!! Highly recommend.

Excellent continental breakfast on rooftop with great cappuccino. Rooms had high ceilings and was clean and spacious excellent location. So much witin walking distance restaurants, shops, piazza novona with 3 fountains within a 4 minute walk and in other direction less than10 minutes walk to castel sant angelo. Taxi stand and buses nearby.

Very happy with our stay here. Location was really good and walk-able to so many tourist sites. Room was OK. We had the sofa turned into a bed, which wasn't the most comfortable though! The best feature of the hotel is the rooftop area which has stunning views over the city. Breakfast there was a real treat. For the evening - make sure you book your table as it gets very busy. All the staff were nice. Overall a great choice for staying in Rome.

Lovely stay in a character filled hotel

Lovely older property with a lot of character. The staff was excellent, and the rooftop restaurant/terrace was beautiful and so wonderful to enjoy breakfast each morning and drinks at sunset.

Great location - very central location and close to Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain. The room is a great value for the price. The decor is medieval themed and you feel transported back in time, like royalty in the rooms! The hotel itself has some renaissance history. Very unique stay - we enjoyed it very much.

Great location and nice overall hotel.

The hotel is in a great location - central to most major sites and a short walk to tons of great restaurants and cafes. Our room was dark but comfortable and had the look of an old Roman room, which I wanted. Breakfast was decent itself but the setting for it is beautiful on the rooftop. The rooftop bar is very crowded at night, I think with lots of people not staying at the hotel. Still, I was able to get a table both times I went up there for a drink. Service was good. I would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic Stay – Clean, Convenient, and Comfortable! I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect — right in the heart of everything, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just steps away. There’s even a pizzeria right next door! One of the highlights was the rooftop breakfast with a beautiful view over old Rome — a perfect way to start the day. I also appreciated the little touches like complimentary water in the mini fridge and taxis always available just outside the entrance. Whether you’re here for sightseeing or shopping, this hotel is a great base. Highly recommend!

Perfect location …

Perfect location within flat walking distance of many of the main sites eg: Vatican, Pantheon,Trevi etc, even for oldies like us. Take a hop-on hop-off bus to get your bearings and return to sites that are further afield like the Colosseum, Spanish steps etc. Unique decor, roof terrace, literally around the corner from Piazza Navona with its many restaurants.

A lovely boutique hotel, with lots of charm. Our room, although very beautifully decorated, was very dark even in daytime, which made it a little challenging to get ready for the day. But otherwise the stay was great! The staff was excellent, professional and very helpful.
