Very comfortable room that had been renovated. Hotel is close to the metro, Vatican, and Castel Sant Angelo. Highly recommend it. Note that there are no amenities at this hotel.

The location of this suite is ideal with a very comfortable bed and good sized private bathroom. We wish the owner of this suite would of contacted us sooner with more specific instructions as to how we access the room. This is not a hotel with staff available. Otherwise we recommend this suite.

The hostess was friendly and responsive. When we reported troubles with the wi-fi, she fixed the problem by creating a new extension to the property's network. Subsequently, it worked flawlessly.

Proprietor Marina was SO pleasant, accommodating, and helpful! The property itself was clean, cute, quiet, and conveniently located. Despite its old-timey charm, the tiny cage elevator was a bit inconvenient for our group of 6; but this was only a minor flaw. Overall, a great stay!

The Vatican Plaza was a great stay and an excellent location - a short walk to the Vatican and right off the Ottaviano metro stop. The room was recently renovated and in excellent condition - would happily stay here again! The Vatican Plaza is not a "traditional" hotel, but rather a group of private rooms in an apartment building - this did not come across to me while booking but I had no issues with it.

This is the perfect location to visit St. Peter's, Vatican, etc. Nice neighborhood, close to restaurants, grocery store, and metro. Marina was very helpful, especially when our taxi to train, was in the wrong location and we needed help to get another one to make our train. Although this is an affluent area of Rome, always wear your backpack in FRONT of you. I was pickpocketed at night and fortunately only lost an inexpensive jacket.

Very difficult to check-in or get the key, very inconvenient . The room ok, shower looks clean but mold or mildew on the ground line. Every day you get 2 paper cup, if you use them or dirty them next morning you don’t have cup for your coffee, there no other cups to use in the room. Would never come back.

Check in was difficult for this property. It's not an actual hotel, it's a studio in a residential apartment building with very little signage indicating the property. No check in instructions or contact info to reach property manager was provided and I didn't know what to do when I arrived. I had to stand outside and wait for a resident to help me figure out what to do. The phone number on the small sign on the building is incorrect.

Arrived a 1/2 hour early for our scheduled check-in time but was able to check in without an issue. City tax is collected at check-in (€3.50/person per night) is cash only. Stayed in the family room (queen & 2 twins). Room was clean but a little dated and didn’t look anything like the pictures of the rooms featured. Overall our stay was great but a little confusing on who to call if there is an issue and for check out prior to the office opening at 2pm. Close to some great restaurants and gelato. Great place to stay if going to Vatican (10 min walk) but it is at least a 40+ min to Colosseum, Spanish Steps, and Trevi Fountain.

The room was very clean and in an an excellent location. We was given a smart phone in our room which was free to use and provided us with a lot useful information about Rome. This was really helpful when using public transport and finding restaurants. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Rome.

Extremely close to good restaurants, bars and The Vatican. Take the 5 minute walk down to St Peters Basilica for 7am to skip the long queues without having to pay for fast track. Rooms are clean and tidy but missing some essentials. Towels changed only at charge of €5 or once every 4 days, no glasses or cups for drinks, no tea/coffee facilities, air-con very noisy and ineffective and finally beds extremely uncomfortable. Check in was good (although restrictive as only available between 2pm-8pm) and the security system was reassuring, All in all a good base for exploring Rome if you can cope with the extremely hard matress.
