Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The room was clean and comfortable but the service was terrible. They only come to register you and then there is no one around to help with anything. You have to email them and wait for a response if you need help getting taxis or for just general information. I would not recommend this place unless you are ok doing everything on your own.
If you want to be near a lot of action, this funky little place will do the trick. The room was adequate but overpriced for overall service (no regular staff on hand) and comfort of beds. It was the most we paid for any room on our 14 night Italian vacation, but we did book late. They were accommodating with leaving luggage and keeping keys past check out. All in all it's a decent place especially if you're just looking for a room and not in need of amenities (they do have wi-fi of course). A bit hard to find, but sometimes that is a good thing.
Check-in complicato.
NO RECOMENDABLE!!!

1. Room did not look remotely as advertised
2. Late coming to check us in
3. The smell coming from the bathroom (moldy) was unbearable
4. Random water pooling on the floor
5. General uncleanliness of the room
6. Paper thin walls so we heard every neighbour all night
We loved the place. Literally one minute walk from Trevi fountain and within walking distance to all main monuments in Rome.
The design of the place was fantastic, quirky and arty. The room was small but we loved it.
I was a bit worried as some of the reviews are really negative but I feel they are exagerations. If you are a big and tall person you might struggle in the room we got. But for us was perfect and we are average height and size.
The internet is not reliable. So if you need a good connection this will be a problem.
Other than that we found the place, the area and the staff really friendly and we ABSOLUTELY would come back here if we visit Rome again.
As soon as I arrived to the Babuccio art suites, the staff (Maria e Elena) told me that there was a “technical” problem with my room and that I had to stay for two nights (out of 4) in another room/apartment in another area of Rome. I was scared because I didn’t know anything about this new place and I had to attend to an important conference. Once in the new place, I discovered that there was not hot water. I contacted Maria from the babuccio suites and she said that she was doing to fix it. Unfortunately, it was not true and I never had hot water in that place.
After the second night, I had to come back to the babuccio suites. I asked Maria to be back there at 7.30 am as I had the conference to attend. She replied by text that the room was going to be available for me as the “technical “ problem was now fixed. Once there I discovered that the technical problem in reality was an overbooking. Another person was in the room. I had to wait in a corridor until the check out time and the cleaning of the room. I finally entered in the room at 10.30-11 am, I finally did an hot shower and unfortunately lost over 100€ of a morning conference. I will never come back here.
I’m still dealing with them to obtain the receipt of the city tax I paid but after 10 days, they are still ignoring my request.
The place is not accessible for disables.

Avoid at all costs!
A most disappointing and dismal place. Don’t be fooled by their photos as the place looks nothing like them in real life. Room was smaller than a dorm room, had rotting and moldy wood in tiny bathroom. Towels were provided for only 1. You could only get out of bed on one side and then only from mid bed toward the head forcing you to crawl over your partner. No on site staff made it impossible to get questions answered or problems resolved. No place to put luggage except in walking area. AC did not cool room. WIFI was not operational most of the time. Second room I had booked at same time was “not available “ forcing sons traveling with us to be moved several blocks away. As a long time traveler this was one of if not the very worst rooms I’ve ever encountered. Avoid as there are many in the area at a much better price!

Stylish and well located
Very nice and stylish place at a perfect location and for a good price. The round bed is a bit awkward but it's not bad.
Check-in was easy. We let the staff know when we would be arriving and a man was there to greet us and they offered water bottles which was very nice. The location was very convenient. We were able to walk everywhere. Unfortunately, the room was VERY different than the pictures. There was no room for luggage. We had 2 small backpacks and stuggled to find a place for them. There was not a lot of room to move between the bed, sink, and washroom. The air conditioning did not work and was very loud. The room always felt hot. The washroom had a smell so you have to keep the window open. The room was cleaned daily, which was appreciated. If you stay here, be sure to ask for one of the larger rooms. It seems like all the good reviews are based on the other 3 rooms. All the bad reviews are of this room. I would recommend making it clear which room is being booked. Our confirmation said “double or twin room” but on their description this room is called the “basic double room”. Disappointing.
The other rooms were more comfortable than the one I was in. Mine had the sink by the bed which wasn't too bad but I was afraid to make a mess. Also if you're not prepared to constantly go up small stairs I would request a different room. But it had a very modern style and overall I liked it.
The check in was the biggest problem for me since I didn't realize how exact my arrival time should have been and Iended up waiting a long time to get in and finally to get into my room. Next time I'll know!
The location was the reason I chose this place though and it worked beautifully.
The hotel is located next to the trevi fountain. That is the only good thing about it. The bedroom was so small that we could not unpack our stuff even if we only had tiny bagpack. There was an awful smell in the room. We have been charged 50 € for lte check in.
This is a very nicely property and a great location but because there is no on property staff the check in and out is s hassle and unfortunately our key didn’t work when we returned to our room after dinner and we had no way of reaching them. The phone number on the listing is disconnected. We had to sleep at the fountain when we paid for a room. Also the air conditioning didn’t work and the coffee machine was broken. It’s too bad this is a cute little place and with some proper management it could be a great place. It’s spacious for a European hotel and the bed is comfortable and a nice bathroom and shower.
