Our room was really nice and clean!! Staff was nice and helpful when you could find someone!! Other then the noise of someone banging on something. It’s a very nice and clean hotel!! Thank you for everything
Great hotel. The rooms are very quiet because it is set off from the street and the walls are solid. Comfortable, clean and good amount of space. The location is great for visiting popular spots in Rome. You need to coordinate check in time because the reception isn't always open, and getting in the gate us a bit confusing at first. Nice touches like some free snacks. The courtyard is basic but was nice for my morning stretching exercises.
Great staff, Yasmin was great, cleanest room ever, great amenities, great environment, excellent customer service, we said hotel/apartment WiFi was slow next day they came and. Fixed it because it was late at night. They were excellent 10/10 really recommend for first timers in Rome the gate to the entrance looks odd but once you go inside and climb the stairs/ pathway to LF Borgo it’s splendid and has beautiful rooms inside. 100/100
LF Borgo is conveniently located on a main road with excellent connections into central Rome, with a nearby train station making travel very easy. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel, and it’s only a 10-minute walk to Trastevere, which is a great area to explore. The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff are really helpful.
Our room was modern, very clean, and everything felt brand new. We had a coffee machine in the room, as well as a fridge stocked with food that could be purchased. There was also a shared kitchen available, which was very convenient for heating up our own meals.
The hotel is ideally located next to a Carrefour and the Conrad shopping centre, and is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and convenience stores.
The only downsides were that the walls are quite thin, so noise can carry, and on arrival the hotel was difficult to find as it is not clearly marked on the main entrance.
Overall, a very comfortable and well-located stay with great facilities.
The good
Location is excellent, most areas are walkable and around you are shops, bars and even a supermarket.
The rooms are very well maintained and the air conditioning amazing.
The bad
There is no terrace - despite there claims to the contrary. There is a small yard that some rooms have access to but there is nothing there so of minimum use. This was an issue with me as I only switched to book this due to the promise of one. A sign outside the building would also make it easier to find.
The Ugly
My room looked out on a car park, with cars up next to the window. To exit you have to walk down some outide stairs past some very smelly bins. I literally spent seven days in a room without natural light.
Overall, did not suit my needs as seven nights is too long to stay in such a small room without sunlight and again I wouldnt have booked if I had known I had no access to a terrace (as it does not exist) BUT the location is excellent, the rooms clean and the cleaning staff vwry helpful so someone wanting somewhere to sleep for a few nights may well enjoy.
Great, friendly staff. Clean, cold air conditioner and quiet, safe rooms with coffee maker. Wonderful, convenient area with easy access to shops, restaurants and relative close proximity to sightseeing.
The room was very clean and modern . The staff was very helpful and they planned my itinerary around the neighborhood's. The hotel was in a great historical area with great atmosphere. Is close enough to walk to all attractions. I will be back for sure 10 star.😊
Thank you to the owner and his helper who might also be his son. They gave me a bunch of pointers on how I could rent a boat and which beaches to go to on my six day trip here. The property is not hard to find, but it’s very small and interpersonal.
Lovely hotel in popular neighborhood of Trastevere. The A/C is very strong which is important during Roman summers. The bedroom and bathroom are nicely updated and aesthetically pleasing. I only give it a 4/5 because: (1) the entrance to the hotel is via a gate that leads into the a general apartment complex. As such they give you like 4-5 keys to get into the gate then the hotel door then 1-2 keys to enter your personal hotel room, which is annoying. (2) there isn’t a front desk person 24-7, but rather you can text a number, (3) some hotel rooms are in a courtyard that has apartment balconies above it and during my stay one of the apartments was having some religious ceremony and they were chanting for almost an hour which you could hear right into your bedroom and was quite a nuisance.
While I appreciate the hotel location and modern interior, these cons almost make me want to just go to a regular hotel for the price. Just a heads up for others!
