Central location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The room & lobby smelled strongly like damp/mold to me. Tiny elevator, 2 ppl or 1 with luggage. Very noisy, you can here your neighbors and ppl in the hallway at 2am most nights, and there are ambulances all day and night passing which we heard from the 4th floor. Bathroom is small, you will burn whomever is showering if you use sink/toilet, hotel has cracks in the walls in many places. Mini fridge did work. Only given 1 key card, seriously?! The bed is made up with only a single thin sheet, maybe nice if you like the room warm but a comforter should be provided.

The location was great. Easily walkable to all the Rome landmarks. Good breakfast . Room was a bit run down but we did enjoy our stay.

First stay in Roma, great little hotel! It’s within walking distance to food, shopping and a taxi stand across the street. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is in an old building on multiple floors. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very spacious and clean. On a busy street with lots of street/cub noise and church bells.

Mold in bathroom. Shower, TV and kettle did not work. Had them fix the shower and then the hand shower stopped working. Definitely not a 3 star. More like an old motel - 1 star at best.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé, vous pouvez tout faire à pied, shopping ou monuments ! La chambre est propre, petit bémol pour la qualité du matelas qui est trop dur. Les prestations proposées sont top. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommande fortement.

This property advertised that they had nearby pool access which turned out to be false. Their solution was to blame Expedia and that was it. They were unwilling to work with me to cancel, discount or shorten my stay. They said a refund was impossible and that was that. To contact management you need to email a general email, which I did and still have not heard anything back a week later for a mistake that was made on their end. Absolute WORST hotel experience I've ever had in my life. 10/10 would not recommend staying here simply because the management is unwilling to stand by and help their customers. The front desk staff were absolutely terrific while I navigated this major discrepancy.

Bra läge på hotellet. Tyvärr så hade hotellet lagt ner frukosten trots vi bokat internationell frukost. Vi fick gå till ett café i närheten och dricka en kopp kaffe inkl 1 st croissant. Absolut inte vad vi hade bokat. I övrigt var hotellet okej.

Ottimo hotel, mi sono trovata molto bene ed è la seconda volta che soggiorno al Giolli Hotel perché è in una ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione Termini, alla fermata della metropolitana Repubblica e punto strategico per raggiungere i luoghi principali di interesse. Posizione ottima, ma per il resto è stato abbastanza deludente. Camere poco curate e trasandate (da un 3 stelle superiore mi aspetto qualcosa di meglio) pulizia mediocre, sembrava tutto ok, ma sotto il letto ho trovato due elastici con cappeli annessi di chi aveva soggiornato prima. Solo all'arrivo, dopo il pagamento anticipato delle nostre 3 notti, ci hanno informato che la colazione non veniva più servita nella struttura, ma in un ristorante vicino. Pur comprendendo i motivi avrei voluto saperlo in anticipo (avevo contattato la struttura 2 volte e nessuno mi ha avvisata) e sopratutto passare da una colazione a buffet ad avere o un croissant o un uovo freddo, mezzo bicchiere di succo di frutta e un caffè (o latte) è stato a dir poco assurdo e deludente soprattutto se si hanno dei bambini. Ho fatto presente la situazione alla reception e il personale mi ha detto che mi avrebbe fatto parlare con la direzione, ma nessuno si è preoccupato di fare o dirmi più nulla.

Me and my 3yrs old daughter had a great time in Rome in general. The hotel is ideal location for getting to the main sites. However, I would have given the rating much worse as my experience the first night was awful due to the very helpful staffs the evening we checked it. BUT it was made so much better by a very helpful lady at the front desk..she attended to put need and was extremely helpful with all the information we needed. I would definitely stay here again only because of the experience with her

Amazing stay
We loved our stay here. The lady on reception was so helpful with information about the surrounding area and gave us directions to the many attractions nearby. Hotel is in an amazing location it’s within walking distance to The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, The Spanish steps & main shopping area and a 5 min walk to the Republica metro station which brought us to the Vatican. Our room was small but comfortable and clean and it met our needs perfectly.

Gut gelegendes Hotel mit sehr freundlichen Personal, es wird immer versucht ein early Check-in durchzuführen, falls man vor der Check-in Zeit auftaucht. Zimmer sind sauber, Preis- Leistung stimmt bei meinem Preis auf jeden Fall. War innerhalb zwei Wochen, zwei mal dort und würde nicht zögern dort nochmal ein Zimmer zu buchen.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Giolli Nazionale. The only problem is that the walls were very thin. Every night, I was woken up by my hotel neighbors coming back. I could hear almost every word of their conversation. Other than that, everything else was great.
