Stunning place
I really liked everything they offered and especially I loved the receptionist at the hotel. I will go to this hotel if I get another chance to go to Rome.

Great night in Venice
It was a gorgeous night. Our room was fantastic and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The staffs were really kind. They made the best effort to answer to my questions. I am absolutely satisfied with the service of the hotel.

비행기 시간이 늦어져서 오후 9시쯤 호텔에 도착했는데 직원이 아무도 없고 심지어 투숙객도 없어서 정말 난감했습니다. 여자 2명이 출장을 갔는데 호텔의 문도 안 열어주고 밤은 어둡고 인근에 사람도 없어서 정말 무서웠어요. 전화를 해도 안 받아서 1시간 정도 기다리다가 호텔에서 나왔는데, 근처에 택시도 없어서 1시간 더 넘게 기다리다가 간신히 다른 호텔에 한밤중에 갔네요. 여기 엘리베이터도 완전 옛날 좁은 수동식 엘리베이터이고 계단도 있어서 짐이 무겁거나 많은 경우 옮기기 힘듭니다. 간신히 취소했는데 저녁 7시 이후는 아무도 없으니 참고해주세요. 왕복 택시비만 100유로도 넘게 나왔네요...

check-in was only available by 7pm and they said they sent email on this which i didn't received and i ended up waiting in front of big stonehouse for over 30min in the darkness until another resident show up and and i called receptionist to come and after another 40min i finally got my room. breakfast was OK and they called me a cab for us. however, i found they charged me for late check in. 25EURO.. So, for those who has to do late check in, get the hotel with easy access

hotel looked exactly like the photoes , it seemed newly renovated and was modern and clean. However, we were able to hear upstairs walking around as well as the other hotel guests walking / talking and trying to open their doors and etc. It looked nice but quality was just as much for the price. maybe 2-30 min walk to Spanish steps and close to the shopping streets, but near the hotel was nothing much to do, while across the river the atmosphere changes drastically to a busy shopping street. Breakfast was very simple , drinks and bread/cereal. Reception leaves at 7pm so have to confirm if late check-in and think they charge too (25euro? ). Maybe good to stay if the budget is tight as it is very clean / modern but we will not go back in the future.

Quaint hotel with a bed and breakfast feel. The Hotel manager Beatrice was amazing, so friendly and outgoing. I actually felt like I knew her all my life. She met us downstairs, helped with our luggage and made check in a breeze. There was a list of restaurants that we got. We tried 2 of them and they were both wonderful and within walking distance. A hidden gem of a hotel in Rome. Good and safe location, only about a 25 min walk from Vatican City. So many restaurants and shopping locations minutes away by foot. Room was superb, clean and quiet. Very friendly, nice and kind staff. The staff is knowledgeable of the area and will answer any questions you have. Enjoyed my stay at Luxury on the River. I will gladly stay here again. Definitely recommend this place to families, friends and solo travelers.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were really nice and helpful. The property was good not what i was expecting...my own fault really as i imagined a little accomadation that sat right next too the river but it is in an apartment building across a busy road to the river. Nice to walk next too. I had an apartment which had a seperate bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on second floor. The bed was comfy and we had access to netflix on the tv which was so lovely to watch and relax after a full day of running about around Rome. I do have to say that the jet tub which was the selling point for me was a little bit of a disappointment we put it on and took ages to run the bath deep enough to then sent lots of dead spiders out from the jets so im guessing it hadnt been used for a while. We abandoned use of it. Other than that it felt safe and we were located right in the centre of everything we wanted to see so it all was no more than a 30 minute walk away which didnt even feel like that because there us so much to stop and see on the way. Would stay again.

The location is central to everything and very walkable to all historical/ancient sites. The hotel is very cozy and comfortable and the absolute best thing about Luxury On The River is the staff!! Beatrice is AWESOME!!! Her English is perfect, her personality is always bubbly and sweet and her customer-service skills are well beyond 5 stars! She is the absolute best at what she does!

This hotel is amazing. The staff is so great and friendly, they helped us with any question or need we had. Staff does only work on site limited hours, however they are available 24 hours if you do need them. The room was so comfortable and clean! The location is right outside the City Center, but you can walk there in minutes, walkable distance to the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and the Vatican. There are many dining options near by. It is really in the middle of everything, we only had to take a taxi once the entire time we were there. When we go back to Rome, we will stay here again without question. I highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect honeymoon room.
Helpful staff, arranged a private car for our final-day trip to the airpirt. The room was amazing. Loved the jacuzzi tub for two and all the indirect lighting. Easy walk to great food. Perfect place for our honeymoon.

The Hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of historical areas and the Hotel staff was very helpful and informative specifically Luisa and Beatrice who were genuinely concerned with our needs for transportation and were a phone call away for help with whatever we needed. If in Rome again we would definitely stay here again.

Despite the fact there was scaffolding up, and the building is clearly undergoing renovations, this only had the impact of us not being able to access the balcony. The library room that we stayed in was as refreshingly unique as it was comfortable and well considered. There was ample amenities in the room for tea/coffee making, and anything else that we could possibly want Beatrice was eager to provide assistance with. On the mention of Beatrice, she was absolutely lovely for the duration of our stay, as was Luisa in the communications we had before we arrived. I'd come back here again in a heartbeat.

Hotel was at a great location. Staff are nice. Everything was good except Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi always cuts off and is not strong enough.

NOT Luxury at all.
The "luxury" in the name is deceiving. The shower is dingy and had a broken faucet - it took them 3 days to replace it. The doors don't close, the service is sub-par.

Great location, great place
Great place. Surprised by the renovations taking place and blocking the view. I would expect some compensation as the reservation were done at full price. Even some morning pastries or a bottle of wine.

Dear Mr Daniel, hello! Thank you for your comment. We tought that upgrading you for free to our most beautiful and expensive suite with spa bath (you had a "classic room" booked) would have been appreciated as enough to amend the works that are happening to the facade of the building. As soon as the renovation started, we advised each and every guest with "city view" reservations about it, so, I hope you did not feel that much surprised in the end ;)Kindest regards and see you soon

Small and intimate. Supper clean an updated. Staff is super welcoming, helpful and friendly. The location is ideal, walking distance from most sites of interest. Great food, convenience store and pharmacy all nearby. The staff will book for you all the tours and will also arrange seaport or airport transfers. I will stay there next time in Rome. Thank you, thank you!

Perfectly located between ancient Rome and Vatican city. Making it a short walk to everything Rome has to offer. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Very great experience!
