Not bad. Confusing check in.
The rooms were nice enough, though the shower in the bedroom is an odd choice. The check in process was chaotic and counterintuitive. It would be impossible for someone who is using WiFi only. The instructions were not even close to sufficient. But the rooms were reasonably clean, there was coffee in the common area and the window was on the side opposite the busy street, so over all, not bad.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We were right off a busy shopping strip. This property was old school; no lift, physical key for entry, no parking since it is in the middle of the city but we loved the experience. It was centrally located and very walkable. The room itself was small but comfortable. We only interacted with staff via email or WhatsApp, which was fine. The people staying in the surrounding properties and property receptionist at the entrance were not very friendly but we made do.

It’s not look like the hotels more like the Airbnb type .has a little issue when we arrived. No one was there l had to make a long distance call to the hotels front desk to check us in

Dear Aimee,We are not a hotel. We are guests house. I am sorry if you had ''issues'' when you arrive. The day before your check in, we send you the link in order for you to do the check in online. We could have sent you the simple instructions in order for you to enter autonomously. Having said, our reception is just located in the right corner building. Just one call away, we are there in a minute.When we travel, we usually do not mind making long distance calls. Its part of it. I guessed, that was not the case for you. The staff and hotel were nice. They listed WiFi was available. They were unable to get it to work over our 3 day stay. The worst part was to get cell phone service I had to stand in the street. The second floor room we had was a dead zone for cell service. As a USA traveler calls were difficult. Their front desk was on the 4th floor with limited hours that it was staffed.

We were extremely sorry for what happened with the wifi line, but The problem we had with the wifi, was due to a problem which affected the local phone company, and it did not depend on us. The best hotel we have been in Italy among those we were in Bolonga, Garda Lake, Toscany and Rome (in same prices). The stuff was so lovely and take care of everything we had. Room was brand new and clean (we were in the family room). Location is great, near the main subway station. Surely we going to come back to this hotel.

Room was great! The bed was very comfortable with firm and fluffy pillows! It was very clean! Alessandra was amazing! She answered all of our questions and gave us great tips on where to eat!

Staff at hotel Alexandra was very attentive. Excellent all round experience. Hotel is central to all amenities in Rome, ie hop on bus and major sites. I would recommend this hotel.

Great Starting Point!
Exteremely accommodating and friendly. This was the starting point for my first European adventure with a couple friends and I immediately felt comfortable being away. I highly recommend.

Worst set up, tiny room
This was literally the smallest room I have ever stayed in. You could barely walk past the bed at the end. The air conditioning was under the window, which seems fine until you know that the big thick curtains completely covered the air-con when closed. While sleeping and getting changed and pretty much anything in the room you need your privacy but if you have your privacy you do not feel the air-con one tiny little bit. Said air-con is also very quiet at most times but when it kicks back in it makes a very loud noise, which woke me up several times throughout the night. The strangest set up ever. Our check in was not the easiest either. The place is not sign-posted therefore it took some time to actually find the place without a working phone, and then when we got there we had to wait down stairs until he had finished checking someone else in. Not ideal with several luggage bags after travelling in the heat all day.

L'ensemble était très bien,mais, je pensais que nous aurions le possibilité de prendre un petit déjeuner, ce qui n a pas été le cas, nous pouvions simplement nous préparer un café ou un thé.

Llegamos pronto, tuvimos que llamar a la recepcionista porque no encontrábamos la puerta del Hotel. Bajó y nos explicó por dónde teníamos que ir. Había que subir un piso con las escaleras y se ofreció ayudarnos con las maletas, ya que hasta ahí no llega el ascensor. La habitación es grande y agradable, tiene la ducha en el dormitorio, lo cual se hace extraño pero es una mampara semitransparente y con una cortina que no se ve nada. El lavabo estaba limpio aunque se veía algunas partes un poco deteriorado. La habitación era grande y agradable, pero la cama muy, muy incómoda. El colchón estaba hundido y las almohadas eran muy blandas. El Wi-Fi solamente funcionó un día de los tres que estuvimos. A la hora de marchar nos permitieron dejar las maletas hasta las 4:00 de la tarde en otra recepción, lo cual fue muy de agradecer.

Completamente rimodernata, arredamento e bagno nuovi e molto funzionali. Si trova in un cortile interno, quindi silenziosissimo. Unico neo: si trova al primo piano senza ascensore, quindi se avete bagagli pesanti o se avete problemi a fare le scale non è il posto adatto (anche se ho visto un montascale, ma non so a chi si debba chiedere).
