This is by far one of my favorite hotel stays. The room is nice, the view is awesome, the staff work hard to make the stay better from the front counter to the kitchen to the clean up crew and the shuttle driver. Thanks for an amazing stay!

The staff was outstanding at this hotel. Their hospitality was unmatched and they always catered to your wishes. The breakfast was amazing, the dinner was even better, and the view from the terrace was spectacular. The staff was amazing! From those at front desk, shuttle driver and restaurant staff! We hope to return, and wish we could've stayed longer. The property is well-appointed, secure (gated) , in a beautiful setting. The food on property was outstanding. There is nothing in walking distance, but with their shuttle service getting to Rome center by train was easy. Quick 10min drive to local airport. We left at 7:20 for our 8:30 flight. It was a breeze!

Our Wonderful Stay at “PIETRA” Di Ponente

Staff very helpful and friendly. Property very clean and well organized. Rooms are clean and refreshed daily. Location - super. Very close to the metro station. Metro will take you to Rome in just a few minutes.And then is Irenie, real sweet heart, always happy to help you .

Great hotel outside Rome

Hotel beautiful, staff amazing, breakfast good. Views from hotel stunning. However 20 mins drive from main metro so about 30€ each way every day as shuttle not readily available. Hotel does partner with taxi company who are lovely but more expensive than ittaxis. Note hotel not within walking distance to anywhere so need car or taxi. It was lovely to come out of Rome each night to the peace and calm of this hotel, staff and surroundings.

It was a beautiful property, bellissima! Our room had an amazing view. Ciampino is a beautiful town and it’s convenient to have a train station nearby, not the Sassone station however as that one is difficult to get to, but the Ciampino train station. Our breakfast was delicious, the staff was always kind and helpful. The facility is kept very clean and the property itself is behind a gate! Overall we are very happy with our stay!

The place it’s beautiful and the staff it’s amazing but it a little hard to get from the hotel to the city but it’s not impossible. They offer a shuttle that works from 7am to 10 pm and cost 10 euros per ride to ciampino terminal and from there you can ride the train to roma termini for 1.50 euro per person. To go back to the hotel would be the same, roma termini to ciampino and from there the hotel. But overall was an amazing experience

I booked at Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente and I enjoyed every minute of my stay there. The service they provided me during my stay was above 5 stars. The friendly service makes you feel at home, like family. Irene? Daniela, Leonardo and a new girl (sorry, I forgot her name) at the front desk were superb and all have excellent interpersonal and customer management skills. Melania and Luciana in the kitchen were also excellent in taking care of me every morning... I always had my Americano coffee as soon as I sat down. Their food was Mucho Buena. They all deserved to be rewarded for their great work. Without a doubt, when I return to Rome in the future I will stay here again. Hotel Residenza d'Epoca Pietra di Ponente. Irene went the extra mile and helped me book a taxi with Carlo and find trains to Venice, Florence and Ciampino. She helped me like a real travel agent. I loved it... THANK YOU IRENE

The Service was exceptional throughout...

From he reception, right through, they where amazing, always at hand willing to help. The view from our room was amazing. As neither my daughter & I drove, property is not accessible by public transport, we had to rely on the shuttle so that kinda limited my outings The nearest bus stop according to Google maps was 20 minutes away walking, which is not accessible as there where no safe places to walk, the roads are too narrow & not safe. The shuttle service was amazing though, the times are as advertised which I loved. I had a late arrival and as my daughter had arrived earlier she arranged it all. Our price was including breakfast which was fantastic. The home baked pies where amazing. Our rooms where cleaned to our satisfaction although we only requested towel changes once as we hardly stayed in our room it was not necessary for a daily clean. The hotel has ample parking, & outside seating space, we had breakfast on the patio outside, & behind the property you have more seating space. You have a local taxi service which we where booking with through the Uber App. This was during times the shuttle service was not available. The train station we used was Ciampino which is the most reliable with more frequent trains. The journey to Roma Termini from Ciampino by train is 15 minutes costing €1.50 single per adult. We also went to Lake Albano 25 minutes on the train then a short walk to the lake. Overall our stay was fantastic and I would definitely highly recommend.
