Room basic, safe not working, no master key, no hairdrier, no medical kit. Website states no plastic straws but in use even after telling them, band by Dominica gov. Limited menu and then could not provide choice, did not have ginger ale. Waited an hour for hot breakfast cereal. Only filtered coffee no cappuccino etc. Eco resort! Gardeners using 2 stroke noisy blowers why not battery. Plastic on beach, could ask customers to pick up a piece to help eco! Finally beautiful location.

Rosalie bay is in a lovely part of Dominica and has tropical feel. The standouts are the adjacent Rosalie bay river connected to the grounds, the black sand beach and the SPA services. A very friendly team and a relaxed environment.

The grounds around the property are beautiful and great for wildlife viewing. They have a large well maintained pool that is perfece for relaxing. The concierge was helpful in arranging different activies that I wanted to do. The restaurant has excellent food and service.

The property is nestled away on the country side of the island. We stayed in the honeymoon suite only steps away from the ocean . The pool is made of stones and is refreshing , especially with a cocktail. We scheduled a couples massage with hot rocks and let the stress of the World melt away . What a lovely retreat with Nature ! We will be back soon!

This is a beautiful and quiet property. The on-site restaurant provides a delicious breakfast. It is about an hour's drive from most attractions but is much more peaceful than staying in Roseau. Like most beaches in Dominica, this one is not swimable. This property is relatively isolated, so we ate most of our dinners there as well. The food is tasty and portions are large.

Beautiful site on a cove facing the Atlantic. The staff are great and very knowledgeable and helpful. Leatherback turtles nest in the cove and the staff work with a conservation group to facilitate turtle watching. Excellent place to base our visit in Dominica.

The rooms were so nice with lovely balconeys overlooking the gardens. They have night time sea turtle experts who will let you see the turtles coming back and forth from dropping their eggs. The food is good and the service is awesome.

Great property and staff were very accommodating. The front desk called me when I landed to let me know the kitchen was closing and if we wanted pizza since we would arrive late. The pizza was waiting in our room. And on the last night (Christmas Eve) we asked the staff in the restaurant if we can get some local food. They were so happy to oblige. Captivating but a few misses

I really enjoyed my stay here at Rosalie Bay. Their grounds are beautiful although they could maintain landscape a bit better say the labyrinth and along ocean. The biggest disappointment is the room which was dull and dreary lacking the Caribbean vibe, window did not open which really forced me to use A/C

We enjoyed our relaxing stay. The reflexology massage was amazing. The food was good although the menu was limited this time. We also had issues as our rooms did not have sockets for our adapter which meant my mum could not use her breathing machine at night and no adaptors were available. The overflowing bins were a bit of an eyesore as the rest of the grounds were very well kept. This is my second stay and I know we will be back.

A good experience with no so good food

The room was large and spacious and as pictured with good AC The resort was quiet and isolated which made for a rest full stay. They were able to setup tours from the resort as well as airport transportation. The downside to the resort is that is only 1 restaurant on site. The food was poor to average and very overpriced with no fresh seafood options so bring lots of snacks. Half of the staff were friendly and the a few seemed to be annoyed with helping

Our stay at the Rosalie Beach Eco Resort and Spa was generally very good. The environment was serene, the staff very courteous particularly Surnita and helpful in many ways and the turtle watching experience fantastic. The room was well-maintained and spacious, however, the door lock was not maintained…initially difficult to open. That was resolved. However, we believe that there can be improvements in certain aspects: The area at the suites 601- 604 is poorly lit…there’s a pole that once had a light and it needs to be restored. The grounds need more regular cutting…too many areas with high grass Better use can be made of the vast area between suites 601-604 and 500-503..maybe some benches and umbrellas There should be regular security walks particularly in the aforementioned areas and for guests wanting to watch the turtles at night The dining menu is extremely limited…we believe that the local dishes should be promoted both for breakfast and dinner. The Front Desk staff should be proactive in giving information on sites to visit e.g. the Emerald Pool that nearby.

very nice property, there is a pool, a spa and a gym. Not much activities to do there and around the area but theres a big landscape for creating your own picnic, etc. the food was ok, not much of a variety mainly caribbean cusine. The staff at the resturant and receptions were great. Overall i will rate 7.5/10. every resort has its pro and cons depending on a person's expection. will i recommend? yes!

This is an absolutely beautiful and special place. Our room/suite was huge inside with a nice sitting area, a gigantic bathroom and very large bedroom. Wraparound balcony. The beach faces east to the Atlantic and mostly no one is there, outrageously gorgeous. Sunrise is spectacular. The restaurant has very nice freshly made food, very thoughtfully prepared, tasty. Less local-style cuisine than we would prefer and not a super wide array of options for vegetarians staying for 5-6 days but still very enjoyable and they are very accommodating. Fantastic included breakfasts. Pool is great, small but few people using it, and very nice, clean, good temperature. The grounds are beautiful, lush green with flowers, and the sounds (birds, frogs etc) are fabulous. The river is very pretty going down to the sea. The gym is cute and we did use it. There is no AC in it and the humidity is intense to work out in but I was glad for the opportunity. This is not the place for people looking to be around populated-type activities like going out to eat, and not easily accessible to the west coast tourist attractions. It’s also not a luxury-type resort with fancy-place vibes. This is for you if you are looking for remote, quiet, reasonably-priced real nature spot that is unique and special and has a local feel to it. Clean and comfortable and incredibly peaceful with stunning natural beauty.
