British Colonial - Nassau

"The hotel staff were amazing shoutout to Ashlee, Randy, Anwar, Noel door staff. We went for my sisters birthday & everything was great until at 6:30 pm we received a noise complaint from British airways steward for singing happy birthday. The British airway employee escalated the complaint & in turn ruined her birthday night! But the Desk staff was amazing & ended up comp'ing us a bottle of wine for the behavior of the British airway employee. Noel & Anwar were our bartenders and were very nice and hospitable. Randy was helpful and sweet (TY). Overall the hotel was as pictured. On our the 3rd or 4th day we smelled something like fumigation but did not question it. On our last day we found out why when a roach crawled out from under the bed. :( . This is why I gave a 3 stars for cleanliness. I wish the hotel management had informed us that there were roaches because my suit case was left open & then we had to go through everything to ensure we were not bringing anything back home with us. I informed the front desk at checkout and the lady wanted to see proof which I showed her the picture taken and then we got a "sorry about that and she will tell her supervisors". Which was disappointing. But for the fact of finding the roach I would rate the resort a 4* the beach and staff a 5 the food a 3.2 as the food was not authentic but prepared for touristic taste buds. Overall I would definitely return to the Bahamas. Watchout for price gauging!"

"We cannot say enough about how beautiful and well-maintained the grounds were. We were happy with the availability of so many comfortable chairs and sheltered areas to relax on the beach and loved the hammocks multiple sitting areas around the grounds. There were some signs of wear and tear as would be expected of any 50+ year old building. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The food was good. I would recommend new lampshades in our Room 413 and repair a loose tile that was in the bathroom. It would be nice to have more variety in the entertainment. Would definitely return to Breezes!"

"Total relaxation! Smaller resort, not too busy. Perfect to get some alone time! Staff were amazing. Food was excellent! Take the shuttle to Cabbage beach-beautiful!! Pool area was nice, great place to cool off: Bar areas were fun! Much needed get away! ❤️"

The Cove at Atlantis

"We had a wonderful stay at The Cove. The resort is beautiful and elegant, and the service throughout the property was excellent. We especially enjoyed Fish by José Andrés and Paranza, where the food and service were outstanding. The beach was beautiful, with crystal-clear water and soft sand. Our only disappointment was the beach service for drinks and refreshments, which was very limited and sometimes almost nonexistent. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we would definitely return!"
