Overall great stay.
Plus sides:
- privately owned and small enough with only 17 rooms
- away from the crowds and yet in walking distance from beach and town centre
- perfectly located as a base station for visiting the Abruzzo region
- clean and up to date
- charming outdoor dining opportunity / bar
- underground garage
- a/c in rooms
Negatives:
- basic kitchen without dishwasher
- quite small pool
- wifi coverage inside is poor, but is ok outside
- rooms only get done once a week
- traffic/neighbouring construction noise
- poor noise insulation from upstairs rooms
- no toilets around pool/restaurant area
- limited attention to little details (no complementary welcome drink, no pool towels, no slippers, no minibar, no bathroom items other than basic soap dispensers, no books/magazines/tourist guides in room)
Conclusion:
Nice place, but a bit pricy for what you get.
