“Picked up the key, but only returned to the van after hours. Door did not lock at all and the bolt came out when the key was turned. Called the emergency number, only to be rudely told "What do you want me to do about it, I'm at work 30 min away". I said that the door didn't lock and that would need to be fixed. the reply "Oh, we've known about that for a few weeks and it will be fixed next week". “Very nice hotel, great amenities, room was very nice with a nice view. Was there for a wedding and food was very nice. In the morning- the cafe was short staff and the queue was very long just for a coffee so we went off somewhere else. In general- great location and accommodation ”

“I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone.”

“good stay for the price. They work till late on many days - that was a plus so easy to check in. Lots of parking. Lots of places to eat at around the area and they give you a discount if you order food downstairs at their bar and give you a free drink voucher - was good. Overall the facilities were well maintained. I didnt hear any noises, no bad smell or anything like that. The only issue was that my window were looking at their A/Cs which would make some noise but was acceptable if the windows...
