Nothing personal but the cleanliness of the apartment unit was poor kinda smeared over from the last guest who stayed in the Unit. Cleaning was definitely “NOT” thorough and basically glossed over without really cleaning up after the previous occupants.

At first I loved this room (stayed 3 nights) since it felt like our own little apartment. However after the 1st night I started to notice all the bus, the dirt on the base boards and our wifi died. I contacted the staff service team (no reception, very self-serve) about the wifi, after they told us to unplug the modem, I contacted them to say it still didn’t work. Their response that it was working while they were there so I should contact management. Customer service was great to me however what left a sour taste in my mouth was 1) when they said it still worked since it obviously didn’t and 2) when I talked to an other customer they said they were having issues too, however their messages to customer service were being ignored. As tourists from out of country, we really rely on wifi to get around and enjoy the country we are visiting. Sadly, we spent most of our time looking for free wifi in cafes

Property was found with lack of basis appliances and worst customer service. Called on phone numbers provided many times to request for arranging appliances but no one picks the phone. There is no reception desk also to talk about the experience. I won’t recommend this for long stay.

Value for money

For the price we paid it was awesome. Right in the middle of the city you can't go wrong as every attraction was easily accessible including the ease of access to the best restaurants, pubs, bars etc. Two bedrooms were modern and spacious with bathroom, kitchen and living area with wifi and flat tv connected with netflix. I would definitely return if ever go back to Rotorua.

Disappointing

Good location - no on site staff, more airbnb than hotel - parking problematic, if you want to sleep in. Only limited online TV only, no FTA TV or cable. Wifi password published on the front door of a busy street (half of Rotorua probably uses it) so zero data security. Smelt damp due to bathroom fan not working.

Our stay was okay, everything was closer to us but you don’t have any amenities for your customers, like jacuzzi, pool, playground or a game room so the kids can enjoy staying there, and one off the single bed have a blood stain on it. But overall our stay was okay . Thank you.

Not as advertised

The apartment was not as chic as advertised, service lady was using the washing machine when we arrived early evening, the linen was thread bare and some towels ripped and holey. The door lock was nearly falling out the door and we spent all night listening to people on the street across the road!

A total disappointment, on arrival for check in we get up to the room we booked, the door was open, stacks of empty alcohol bottles, and boxes, a few black rubbish bags full of alcohol bottles also, the place smelled disgusting, was not cleaned or ready, beds not changed etc. Tried contacting someone which was pointless as no one answers, a cleaning lady who hardly spoke came out ten minutes later and said sorry then disappeared again...finally I found her again and she said we can take a different room, which was way smaller, next to a disgusting alley way with a Chinese restaurant back door outside the window to the room. The room was not clean, aircon hardly worked properly and made an annoying wrr sound all the time. We paid for a room facing the road, with king bed a two twins in separate rooms with bigger kitchen dining lounge room, and were given a small cramped dirty place, most stuff there is broken and no iron for clothes as stated. Still never got a reply from the place, its a strange setup and would not recommend staying here.. at all.!

Well equipped, spacious, and clean. However, one of the rooms did not have a window and if you cook in the room, it is not well ventilated which means your room will smell like your dinner for a long time(including that room with no window). If you dont plan on cooking or do not mind no windows in one of the rooms, it is a good option.

The good thing about this property is its location. However, the disappointment started when we learnt that the "free parking" was street parking which had restricted hours. The entrance to the apartment was dirty and uninviting, the front door was difficult to open (to the point we nearly had to call for assistance), the furniture was cheap and ridiculously uncomfortable (so we didn't use it), there was no "welcome drink" as stated, the shower and toilet were dirty and the toilet seat moved when it was used, the lamps didn't work. The bed was hard and the bedding again was cheap and nasty which contributed to a sleepless, restless, uncomfortable night so we finished our stay early after one night and moved on to a better property.

Dirty!!

Was really unclean we had to mop the floors because they were just so filthy and not suitable for children Would not recommend! I wouldnt trust the sheets either..hairs and stains everywhere . Just gross!!!

Central location, modern and clean apartment. Sent our check-in email with all the necessary info 24 hours in advance of check-in time, but when we checked in there was no tv or internet service available.

Looked barely anything like the photos and smelt of fish as we first entered. We had to spray the room ourselves. Kitchen dirty, mirrors dirty. Cheap Kmart furniture which the chairs had screws come out while we were sitting on them. Walls had no soundproof whatsoever, could hear everything from all the other rooms which was a pain in the a**. Overall was quite disappointed and wish we had booked somewhere else instead.

Property was in a great position but more attention to cleaning. Floor was sticky & glasses were still wet with soap suds around the bottom when picked up. Apple TV was good but internet poor.
