"My family stayed here over the 4th of July weekend, and this turned into one of the worst hotel stays we’ve ever had. Late at night, a huge cockroach crawled up my leg while I was washing my hands in the restroom. I probably woke up half the floor after yelling because it was so gross and disgusting that I jumped back instantly. I took pictures because I couldn’t believe it actually happened. For a moment I thought about leaving, but it was already around 1 AM, we were exhausted from traveling...

"I knew I made a mistake booking this terrible place, nothing in there worked. I ran out of it as soon as early morning came, could not even take my shower there. It was really bad! It almost ruined the fun of our road trip but we never allowed it. How any company would charge that high and provide such terrible property condition, amenities and service is so surprising to me. There are way better and even cheaper hotels all around, I got misled by the reviews."

"Spark by Hilton Round Rock wasn't the worst hotel I've ever stayed in... but let's just say it won't be earning a spot on my favorites list. The property proudly displayed plenty of "No Smoking" signs, which was ironic considering it smelled like someone had ignored them for the past decade. The king bed somehow managed to be less comfortable than the sofa sleeper, which is a sentence I never thought I'd write. I'm also glad I brought my own pillow. I will never understand why hotel pillows...

Floor tore up, gouged out of floor, room smelled, sink faucet was loose & hot water didn’t work, tv had 2 big white spots ( b/c led crystals were bad), tv cable & internet would cut out 1 of light switches was not on, sheets had stains on them, stains on pillow case & stains all over top cover. Stairs to my room on 3rd floor was crumbling & concrete falling down, so crime tape & wood blocked off stairs & elevator to go up jerked soo bad it was scary! Staff was nice but...
