La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque West
2/10 Terrible
"No room amenities no fridge or microwave.
Hot tub out of service. Dirty carpet everywhere. Elevators smelled like Marijuana and urine. Pet urine was everywhere outside and inside.
Hotel did not offer soap or shampoo because they were waiting on a shipment.
Oh and the water just completely shut off for the entire property for an entire day. People were using lobby restrooms and leaving their mess in the toilets unflushed. When water turned back on the following day, it ran brown until the next day.
Lots of free ice available which was a plus.
Decent lobby store with basic essentials but naturally very high price per usual. Not a complaint but expect to pay $5 for a single disposable razor.
cost $13 to do a single load of laundry and the dryer could not dry clothes in one 45 min on high heat and no the dryer was not even half full.
Free breakfast was liquid scramble eggs, red potatoes and waffles and cereals and coffee juice tea the usual etc.
Breakfast is from 6:30 to 9:30 and I was told at 7am that they were out of waffle batter for the day.
As I was eating my oven baked red potatoes and drinking the only bottle of water they had, they brought out more batter because someone else asked.
Staff was helpful and refunded 2 nights out of my 4. But they were still checking in people and they were not telling them that there was no water.
Staff was also offering as low as 10% refund to some clients and 100% to others.
Will not stay at this property again."
"We stay often at Embassy Suites. This was one of the better properties. Great front desk staff. Very clean rooms. The breakfast area staff was amazing. We felt like we were at expensive breakfast restaurant with their level of service. The lady working that omelet station was awesome, especially."
"When family travel, we budget everything to the penny. I had concerns with the deposit. In this case, it was higher deposit fee then stated on Expedia. There was no manager on site To make accommodations. Not only that, the sofa bed had dirty sheets, a dirty wash cloth with blood was under the sofa bed. One elevator out of commission, we took the stairs from the 6th floor. Pool towels were not assemble and stocked for guest at poolside. Broken pool lawn chairs- no umbrella attached to pool tables. (No shade). I had a piece of hair in my breakfast. A dog constantly barking from a room near the breakfast Seating area. Overall a terrible experience for my children and I.
Thank you!"
"This hotel is located in a centralized area.
Locations can be reached very easily.
Staff was helpful and attended to our needs. The grandchildren enjoyed swimming in the enclosed fitness room."
"WHAT A DUMP!! Where to start? Cockroaches! Beds that were like sleeping on a beanbag chair! 2 people yet only ONE towel/washcloth! No shower curtain! No wastebasket so has to throw trash on the floor! Curtain broken! Sketchy people working on cars in the parking lot.
There were lots of hotels all around. Hotels.com should remove this from their listings!
WORST HOTEL EVER!"
