The negatives- the rooms are not sound proof - so ear plugs are needed and for some reason they charge 2EUR to rent pool towels. I've never been to a hotel where you pay for pool towels. They also don't tell you this when you check in so when you get to the pool, only then are you told, and you have to walk back up to reception.
Breakfast as basic but nice, service at breakfast always with a smile.
Cocktails round the pool were excellent, very reasonably priced and served quickly. The bar upstairs was also great, we didn't try the restaurant as wanted to venture into town at night which is beautiful."

Hotel Pagoda

"Excellent stay at Pagoda. The staff are lovely and helpful, hotel is in a great area 5 minute walk to the ferries, and the beach area is gorgeous. Loved ordering a spritz and snacks beachside!
Only downside is they don’t have hair conditioner. "

"I have traveled all over the world and this was by far the worst hotel I have ever walked into. The outside of the hotel looks nice, but the photos on the site are very deceptive to what the rooms are actually like. The place needs torn down and severely renovated. Bugs in the bedding and unclean/wet floor. It was so bad that I walked into the room set my stuff down and booked another hotel right away because there was yelling in the hallway and didn’t feel safe. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE... The room smelled like mildew and the balcony is free access for anyone that also has a balcony. The door lock was eaten away by insects or something and wouldn’t lock properly. If safety and cleanliness are important to you, do not book here.
