โWakable distance to the main entrance of Petra. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Pool was fresh and nice after a long day of walking. Staff were really nice, gave us the right info to avoid been scam by the numerous people that will try to scam you. Follow the staff tips, you'll be fine.โ
โMy stay was excellent. Thr property is very conveniently located and is only 1 min away from Petra's visitor center.
The staff at the front desk (Rami) was very gracious to offer me a 2-hour late checkout so that I can freshen up after my visit to Petra. That was very mich appreciated.โ

โProperty is just up the hilly road from the Petra visitor center which you can see from the location. Perfect stay if you have a car because there is parking and driving down to Petra visitor center / restaurant strip is a 1min drive. No need to even GPS it. The rooms were okay. โPetra moon is a great hotel - from the outside it looks a bit old but the rooms have been renovated recently and are beautiful. The location is also excellent for tourists looking to visit Petra. Room rate came with free minibar (soft drinks and mineral water) and complimentary box of Arabic biscuits. Room has capdule coffee machine. The powerful rainfall shower is an added bonus.
Hotel has pool, sauna and steam room for relaxation.

Staff at the reception were friendly and helpful with baggage, but the worst thing was with the staff at the breatfast restaurant. I wanted to sit by the window but one table that was left was not cleaned, so I sat at a big table by the window. The staff came and told me to "Sit there" literally. Sit there, like talking to a child: so impolite. He said there was a group of tourists that never came until I finished my meal. Anyways, so I asked him to clean and set the empty table by the window, and he never did. Then he started cleaning other tables and chairs, hitting the chairs with cleaning cloth for dusting. How thoughtless, while people were there eating breakfast.
I believe this hotel deceives people with untrue pictures, and is not worth being included in Hotels.com. I've stayed at hotels with similar price range, but this one was the worst. "
