The location is perfect - right on the seafront, but set back which reduces the noise from the road and walking distance to the old Town. It is a classic Georgian building and beautifully refurbished with lovely large comfortable rooms, complete with fridge and large screen tv. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed in Hastings many times over 15 years and this is our favourite hotel. ”

“This was a great stay. Car park is small, but I did get a space. I stayed in the ground floor room, which was large and spacious, comfortable bed. The only thing missing was a chair to sit at the table/desk at. Staff friendly. Car park did not come at an additional cost (there are other places in Horley which add on a car park charge). I was up early the next day for work, so was not woken by the washing machine? above me (but others might have been).”

“We stayed here for one night before a stupid o'clock flight from Gatwick. Communication beforehand from the staff was brilliant, advising us on taxi options to the airport, parking etc. The room was lovely, modern decor, comfy bed, very small bathroom but who cares it was fine! We got the train to Horley and it was about a 10 minute walk, very easy. Lovely pub and restaurants within walking distance. Staff were super helpful offering us a choice of rooms on arrival to meet our needs. Great value...

“ Eye convenient. One member of staff was just lovely she couldn’t have done more to help so friendly. Another was really unfriendly and very moody. I felt as though I was a pain for being there. Breakfast was ok, poached eggs hard and tasted of vinegar. ”

“3 of us stayed in the 3 single bed family room on a room only basis the room was extremely clean with en suite shower room. The beds were very comfortable tea and coffee was supplied and when we needed more milk they bought us more. The room also had doors out to a little patio area overlooking a pool with fish and a lawn beyond.”

“Wow what a little gem of a hotel with restaurant. Room was amazing, modern, classic and Mediterranean feel in heart of a Kent village. If you get room 8 or 9 you won’t be disappointed. Restaurant food was top notch if a little pricy and the included breakfast was also lovely in quality and flavour. Would pick over a chain hotel any day especially as location has few choices for accommodation.”

“The host was acomodating and really helpful. Easily accessible via texts. We never actually saw her. Room was prepared for us and welcoming, refreshments were available on arrival and kid found little fridge greaf. Some little things in there that makes the room not be worth 10/10 like little TV never working or shower leaking so needing to use one of towels to make sure we don't drown neighbours, but we would return providing that the order becomes easier. Unsure if I'd book via hotels.com...

“Simply perfect, as usual. No problems in any area. This is my go-to venue for what are usually short stay visits to the area & I have no intention of staying elsewhere unless by any chance no rooms are available - & so far his has never happened!”

“Owner greeted us upon arrival to show us to our rooms and was so helpful with dining suggestions. Property is lovely, rooms are very nice and the property is spotless. ”
