This is a nice older hotel. It is comfortable, but not exceptional. I visited in summer and was very happy to enjoy the cooler weather and more quiet town. I travelled with my dog and was happy with the hotel and the walks.

Great staff, really big and comfortable room (family room) with a good view, large tasty breakfast, great location in Saas-fee. Would prefer the pool and jacuzzi a little warmer, but that is personal preference. Overall made our time in Saas-fee very welcoming and comfortable.

A nice hotel on Saas Fee in the center a short walk from the Bus Station. It has small but good facilities. It's restaurant is nice, but it is only open Wednesday to Saturday. The rooms are good size but standard rooms have no view; they look into the back of an appartment building. It is reasonably priced. And all in all good value for money in up market Saas Fee. As summer skiing is becoming impossible, summer prices should start to drop.

Very nice except for the front desk service

The front desk staff appear to like to hide in the restaurant. Twice, in the two nights I was there, I wanted to talk to someone at the front desk and the three people who were supposed to be there were all in the restaurant, sitting and chatting at a table. The mini-bar keeps things like cheese or milk cold which is unusual in Swiss hotels in my experience. Like some other Sass-Fee hotels, you don't get your Saastal Card until breakfast on the day after you arrive. Check-in is slow if you wait for a welcome drink. The wifi connection is very good and I was able to hold a zoom call to the USA with only a couple of minutes when there was clear slowness in the connection. The shower was excellent. I had to ask for a kettle and when one arrived, it had no tea or coffee to go with it and the cup was removed after one day and I had to ask for it to be replaced. The in-room safe was too small for my computer. There was a large stain on the duvet cover. Hotels.com does not show the location correctly: the hotel is a good deal further and in a different direction from the bus station and parking area.

The Hotel Schweizerhof gave us an exceptional alpine experience. The staff were welcoming and gave us genuinely thoughtful recommendations. Whether suggesting hiking trails or recommending local dining options, their advice helped greatly with our stay. The room hygiene and facilities were in a spotless condition throughout the day. The accommodation provided us with a quiet, luxurious retreat after a day of exploring. From our balcony there were stunning alpine mountain views and waking up to those views of the surrounding peaks of Saas fee directly from the room balcony is simply unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff and management team for making our short time in Saas fee so memorable.
