This is a 5-star hot springs/onsen resort tastefully decorated, beautifully maintained and luxurious in every way. You won't regret staying here! We loved every moment here and wished we could have stayed longer.

This is the most beautiful ryokan we have ever stayed at. The food was delicious with a great variety and the staff explained the menu. The owner came to greet us at dinner and as we were leaving, it was great to meet her. The rooms were amazing and well put together with so many thoughtful touches. I really enjoyed the private garden and bath each morning. The futons were the most comfortable futons that I’ve had. The staff also took great care to help us ship our luggage to our next stay. Staff was very helpful, and patient with translation. Easy to navigate and find items (laundry, ice machine, etc.). Very clean, room was very well kept.

This hotel is about a ten minute walk from Fukui station. It does seem to be an older hotel, but it looks like it has been lovingly taken care of. They are incredibly generous with their offerings to try and enhance their guests experience. There is a shampoo/conditioner/body soap bar where you can get a little plastic container to bring one of the items you want to try up to your room. There is also already shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, and a toothbrush and toothpaste set per...
