“Wonderful simple cabins that are reminiscent of Costa Rica of the past, with very kind helpful hosts. If you’re looking for a quiet clean escape into the cloud forest, this is the place. We were so happy to see all the hummingbirds while we enjoyed the excellent coffee and fresh fruit juice in the morning. “Boyeros has a beautiful courtyard full of mature trees with a lovely pool. The staff works hard to keep the pool skimmed and the grounds maintained. The free breakfast was tipico- Gallo pinto, eggs, plantains, and sweet corn pancakes, with fresh fruit and various baked goods. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The air conditioning works well, the room was clean, and the beds comfy (sidenote: I like a firm bed). It was really nice to be able to book a room with three beds.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden was incredible and the lovely family did a little night tour to show us frogs, sleeping birds and other small creatures and plants. In the day we saw many birds. The little side kitchen was nice, and the hostess cooked very good breakfasts of local food, much of which they grew.
