"We had a welcome quiet break at this romantic hotel, the food was lovely and the surroundings are very pretty. Our host was great - very personable and interesting. We loved the building and our unique room with its tower and perfect views. "

"Arrived on Sunday to find that no restaurant/chef available. We did not know this and could have been a problem had we not been able to get a curry delivered! The bar too was a bit of an issue, however, this was made available to us and dining Al Fresco with a beautiful view was accomplished. Very nice people and a stunning setting. We all had individual rooms/fires that were well prepared and provided the rest that was needed."

All the rooms have lovely views, either of the garden or of the plateaus across the valley. We enjoyed chatting with the owners who were very patient with the limits of our French language abilities!
