Have used hotels in the Campanile chain before, and this one was well up to standard.. The room was clean comfortable, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again

Avoid

We booked the hotel so that we could use the bar and restaurant for our evening meal. We arrived in the dark in the middle of a storm and was told we couldn't use the restaurant/bar as it was booked out for a group booking. They did not advise us of this even though I emailed them, prior to our arrival, to which they did not respond. They could offer us no alternatives for food, nor did they direct us to anywhere nearby. The room was dirty with stains on walls and skirting boards. The toilet bowl was dirty and the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied. The central heating system didn't work but there was a very antiquated electric heater which we had to use. Breakfast, however, was very nice with lots of choice. There are lots of hotels in the vicinity so in future we will be using one of these.

Not dog friendly as advertised

Advertised as dog friendly however dogs are not allowed in the restaurant so no dinner or breakfast available unless you wanted to be put in a back room and told your dog mustn’t make any noise. Mildew in shower. No refill of milk or coffee unless room cleaning paid for.

Disappointing Stay with Cleanliness and Comfort Is

Our stay was disappointing due to several issues. The room had cobwebs in almost every corner, and as someone allergic to dust mites, the carpet triggered a nasal allergy flare. The pillows were thin, the extra one smelled bad, and the decorative pillows had visible stains. Toiletries were limited to pump hand soap and a combo shampoo-shower gel—no slippers, toothpaste, bar soap, or tissues provided. Breakfast was also underwhelming, with no vegetables or lactose-free milk, making the €14 price unjustified. Overall, the experience didn’t meet expectations.

France is behind

Check in was adventurous front desk was already closed at 9:30 my reservation number did not work on the self check in there was a kind person staying there that spoke French that help us with commutating with the operator breakfast was not anywhere close to what website has pictured gate stayed open first night second night it was closed didn’t work with combination of room had to call for assistance and again no wash clothes or hand towels and no ice machine what is the deal with no hotels in France having the basic immunities like in the States

Une nuit sans plus (mais avec des moins)

Rapport qualité/prix incorrect. C’est un Campanile un peu cher (malgré la période). Les chambres sont vieillissantes. La propreté est à revoir à l’intérieur et à l’extérieur (toiles d’araignée partout, moquette sale, extérieurs peu soignés). La climatisation n’est pas suffisante (il faisait 25°C dehors et encore plus dedans). J’y retournerai peut-être pour un prix largement inférieur.

Manque de rêve sur Deauville

Chambre situe au dessus de la chaufferie, ce qui pourrait expliquer le sol chaud. Logement vetuste, pas tres clean dans les coins.... clim fonctionne pas ou fallait rester dessous .... dommage vu le prix... .

On choisit Campanile pour la formule fonctionnelle hotel+resto sur place mais là, grosse déception car rien excepté le petit déjeuner ? A la réception, se trouve un homme seul (en plein long week-end de l'ascension) qui nous donne des adresses de resto ... Si on avait su, on aurait choisi un autre hotel plus moderne et mieux insonorisé. A éviter.

Très bon rapport qualité-prix

Excellent rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel de réception s'est montré disponible et courtois. Seul point à améliorer : la présence de moisissures dans la salle de bain a été constatée. La literie était propre et confortable.
