Good stop en route

Great reception. Very helpful staff. Room comfortable. Great bathroom. The hotel is very well situated next to a shopping centre. There is also a restaurant next door, "l'atelier" where you get 10% off meals with the hotel.

Worst hotel experience ever! The room was very dusty and dirty as though no one had stayed in the room for years. Spiders and spider webs at several spots in the room, and I’ve never seen such dirty carpet in a hotel room before. We also had to live with a huge fly in the room for the 2 days. The lime scale on the shower head was terribly yucky although the bathroom and toilet itself was the cleanest spot in the entire room. We had 2 people stayed in the room but only 1 bath towel was provided. There was another bath towel placed in the closet but apparently it was used and dirty. On the morning during checkout time, there was no one at the front desk and we waited for 15 min until someone finally came out, there was obviously a lack of staff as the staff was saying she was the only person managing the front desk, kitchen, and the rooms. She asked me how was my stay and I told her my honest opinion, she was then only giving me a shrug and not so sincere apology. I travel a lot and this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed.

The hotel is fine for people on low budget bus tours, who are happy with mediocre breakfasts, but it lacks any local culture and is located in a boring part of town, but staff were friendly and there was nothing horrible about the place.

Only stayed one night - arrived very late and left early the next morning. Friendly staff greeted us on arrival, the room was clean and breakfast buffet was outstanding! Conveniently located near the incredible Caen Memorial Museum and the Caen airport.

Very good stay with excellent staff

Overall a great stay….except the breakfast we paid 10 euros each for the worst food on our travels,scrambled egg must of been an hour old you couldn’t put your knife into the sausage,the bacon looked like cut up scraps overall very poor not worth 1euro , shame really the staff, room and hotel were great.

The drain in my shower didn’t work and the water flooded the bathroom floor. I had to stop the shower after a few seconds and then wash an arm and a meg at a time. It was frustrating. I think the hotel should discount my stay.

Love this hotel but rooms at back overlooked

We love this hotel but the windows of the rooms at the back are overlooked by buildings opposite so we have to keep the curtains drawn. Normally we ask for the rooms overlooking the parking but those rooms were taken this time. I suggested to the reception that some nets at the windows would be a good idea.
