"Everyone has been wonderful except for the young lady behind the desk this morning with all the tattoos, Adesa? Unfortunately she isn’t very friendly. When she talks to you she doesn’t look at you and acts like you’re bothering her. I was in the lobby when a gentleman pulled up in a taxi and proceeded to come into the lobby she basically ignored him until I said, welcome young man and then she started asking him if she could help him and that was after a few minutes of him standing there. Very unfortunate she should not be in the position that she’s in. She’s not good with people. We ended up extending our stay for night and had to switch rooms which really isn’t a problem, but we ended up having A Room not as nice and costing us approximately $300 more. That was disappointing. We weren’t able to shower in this room because getting in and out of the shower was to difficult for us. Other than that I love this hotel and the people that are working in it with the exception. A toy with purchasing, but no one has gotten back to us with the information that I’ve requested. Hopefully you’ll see us again.."
Hamilton Princess & Beach Club - A Fairmont Hotel

"This is our 3rd time back to this hotel and can't say enough about it. Friendly staff, great amenities, very clean rooms and good restaurants. Being in Hamilton is always a plus with access to cabs, bus and ferry to reach other parts of the island."
Hamilton Princess - Fairmont Gold Experience

"Staff were great, first room given had view of a roof so asked to be moved to side garden view. Good experience wasn’t really worth it for us as once we had breakfast we were out and about so a waste of extra money."

"The breathtaking water views from this hotel are incredible. Beautiful during the day and well lit at night. The hotel is very nice but a bit dated. Prices were very high for food and drinks, but that's pretty much everywhere on the island. Not really any amenities besides the pool. One can use the gym at the college across the street, but it was very small and the equipment, such as there is, very old. A bottle of water is provided in your room on the first night, but that's it even if one asks for another. However, the bartenders are more than willing to fill one's water bottle. We had an oceanfront room and again, the view was incredible. Nice beach and very nice and helpful staff. Not close to anything."
The Reefs Resort & Club

"Great location but the property is showing its age. Our bathroom door was broken and room door didn't close properly. Staff's helpfulness was mixed, front desk staff was helpful when they wanted to be, restaurant staff was generally excellent, beach staff was helpful but not super attentive for drink or food orders. We had multiple times where we were told taxis were ordered for our group but they came late or never came at all. After all this though it's still a premier property on the island."

"Property is in a very convenient area. Close to public transport ( no. 7 bus ) and just a stone’s throw from a fully stocked supermarket. Also, the amazing Elbow Beach is within walking distance…"

"Absolutely fantastic stay. The service was genuinely 10/10, but what really made this hotel special was the staff. Every single person I dealt with was incredibly friendly, welcoming and accommodating. You really got the sense that they were happy to see you and genuinely wanted to make sure you had a great stay. I arrived extremely late after a delayed flight, well beyond the normal check-in time, and they could not have been more helpful. They stayed up to make sure I could check in safely and had somewhere to stay that night, which I hugely appreciated. It’s that kind of service and kindness that makes a hotel memorable. A brilliant experience from start to finish, and the team deserve real recognition for how well they look after their guests. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."

"I guess some ants/bugs is to be expected because you're on the island. I wish I knew more that it was really more of an Inn/motel type. My expectations weren't set right. The continental breakfast i wish could've included more than just mini croissant and mini chocolate croissant and yogurt. But location and service was lovely."
