โReceptionist was welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. Good recommendations for places to eat not too far away. Ample free parking. Fairly basic hotel but very clean and quiet. Excellent for a one night stopover on a long journey. โ
โWe booked this super late and the staff were magnificent about accomodating us. The rooms are beautiful and unique. The breakfast was so fresh and made from local produce. I stay at hotels almost every week and this was special. I couldnโt recommend this place enough. Thanks for having us. โ
โWe were driving from the UK to the south west of France and wanted somewhere to stay en route. What a wonderful surprise this place was. The house is a big, beautiful, old (really old!) property with very generous rooms and lovely ensuite bathrooms. The hosts are very welcoming and generous. Saintes - who knows why that big town is not more widely known as a tourist destination. Incredible architecture, lovely river walks, greta places to eat.
And the best bit - we have 2 large excitable dogs...
