Good spot but very expensive

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights but it certainly isn’t 5* but the restaurant prices are for mediocre food! We were on B&B basis thankfully so after first night ate out at excellent local restaurants at sensible prices. You need reef shoes on the beach and in the lagoon but even just standing you can see a great array of fish so snorkelling is excellent. We even saw a humpback whale just beyond the reef.

Excellent breakfast, lots of drink choices and smoothies. Pool was great, didn’t have any challenges getting a sunbed. The rooms were super clean, we didn’t see a single bug (which we were expecting). Had a gecko in the room who lived behind our tv who may have managed the bug situation. Buffet was good but limited selection if you are, or have, a picky eater.

Mixed experience

Lovely location and staff were all very helpful and friendly, food was also good. However as other reviews have said the rooms could certainly do with an update, they're not 5 star quality. Also it was our honeymoon which we'd told them before arriving - they said by email that we could have some 'freebies' on production of our marriage certificate but there was no mention of it when we checked in or at any other point during our stay and so we were never given the opportunity to prove that it was our honeymoon and receive whatever 'freebies' they were offering. In comparison, the hotel where we stayed next in Mauritius offered us on arrival the opportunity to have a complimentary candle-lit dinner and provided us with champagne and other gifts, without requiring us to prove that it was our honeymoon.

We had a good stay but this is not a 5 star hotel! Peeling paint, smallish dark rooms that haven't been updated since a very long time and all that not exactly cheap. Breakfast was not bad, we had dinner once and that was pricey but good. All up it seemed tired and in need of renovations.

Que dire… Nous avons pourtant l’habitude de voyager, quatre à cinq voyages par an, et ce séjour a été l’un des plus agréables que nous ayons connu. Tout était parfait. La gentillesse du personnel, la qualité du petit déjeuner, le cadre idyllique du jardin, la plage, la piscine de + de 50 m pour les nageurs comme nous, c’était formidable. J’aurais presque envie de dire du mal de cet endroit pour garder pour nous ce petit paradis, mais cela serait très égoïste. Au moment de partir, nous n’avions qu’une envie, c’était déjà de revenir. Un grand merci à Julie, responsable de relation clientèle, à Mathieu qui a été d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme exceptionnels, à Sabrina, qui s’est occupé de notre chambre, et à Emy qui servait les petits déjeuners. J’en oublie certainement, car tout le monde a vraiment été dans un accueil exceptionnel. Vivement l’année prochaine que nous puissions revenir dans cet hôtel.

Hotel bonito pero para un 5 estrellas deberian mejorar algunos aspectos: check-in muy lento; desayuno muy flojo y descontrol por parte del personal. Otro tema importante: es un hotel para relax pero cuando coincides en la piscina con mogollon de niños gritando, el descanso y la paz, desaparecen.
