"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. "We had an veranda and it was amazing view and ambiance. The hotel is clean and perfectly situated right in town. We were disappointed that we only stayed 2 nights. Hotel aside, what really clinched it for me to cause me to write this review was the service. I had forgotten my laptop and immediately the cleaning staff notified us but we were already on our way to Paris. The hotel then helped coordinate the laptop to be shipped back to Canada for me and kept me in the loop the whole process. Valentin - thank you for making a stressful situation much simpler! Highly recommend the staff and the hotel, I hope to be back one day."
