โWe stay at The Yard for 8 nights. Our unit was clean, the bed was comfortable and the office employees were very friendly. We appreciated the frozen โlight mealsโ that were included in our very reasonable room rate. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. Our only complaint would be that the completely asphalted property has very poor drainage, so when we had an extremely rainy day our shoes got soaked walking onto the property to access our unit. โ
โThis place was amazing - pretty much a fabulous sushimi restaurant with a guesthouse on top. We (family of 5) had the run of the place and were treated to exceptional dinners and breakfast everyday.
The owner even took us out one night with kitchen leftovers so the kids could feed the local deer.
If you stay here, come hungry to every dinner!โ
โWe originally booked this stay because the hotel is attached to the JR station, but we were pleasantly surprised with how much we loved it! The room was bigger than we anticipated and decorated beautifully, and we had an amazing view of the city. We didn't realize how new the South Gate building was so that probably contributed to how clean and well organized everything was.โ
โHotel is really nice and located by one of the public bus. However early mornings only few trams works and its a bit of a walk from the hotel. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the peace park.lot of seven 11 and family marts around.โ
