“Hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very modern and lovely & clean. When we did stay it was a very hot weekend where the room was hot, would of been nice if there was a fan in the room that we could of used. Free parking which is an added bonus. Only short walk into Colchesters main town. Would recommend to anyone.”

“We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .”

“Great apartment just 5 mins walk to the pier with all of its attractions. Apartment had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. If I was going to Clacton again I would have no hesitation in staying here. ”

“The apartment was exactly what we wanted! It was comfortable and clean! The host was wonderful and had no issue with answering any questions we had! The apartment is so close to the high street - a perfect spot for nights out or just a quick visit to the center. The only thing we found that there was not any oven trays for cooking but there was an oven. Not a dealbreaker at all and we just used foil that was provided. Just a point for the future! “What a lovely host, made us feel so very welcome and even a little basket of goodies for the kids. Highly recommend and will hopefully stay again! ”

“Perfect little place to visit and switch off. Sat outside with a cuppa at 8am on a Saturday morning with only the sun and the burd song for company was bliss. Recommendation of The Green Man pub for an evening meal was well received as the food was amazing with large portions of locally caught fish. This little gem of a place may seem like its in the midfdle of nowhere, but sometimes, that's just what you need in life!”
