Staff and service was excellent and property was very clean. We ran the AC, but had to stand on a chair to see the settings, as they are on top of the unit and the AC was already up very high. In the morning we noticed the heat was on full blast, but there was no place to shut it off! Lastly, unable to open the bathroom door completely as it hits the sink. I would still stay again for a quick overnight.

Our room was spotless!!! We had a 1 queen bedroom. Room amenities were basic. Single serve Coffee maker with 3 pods, coffee whitener and sugar - coffee supplies restocked daily. Kettle, microwave and mini-fridge. Good bed linens and towels. Conditioning shampoo and hand soap supplied. There is no hair dryer. There was a kitchen table with 2 chairs, 1 lounging chair and a tv in the living room area. We would have liked a second lounging chair to watch tv. Very nice little motel. We will stay here when we return to Salmon Arm.

It was clean , friendly staff but cold in the room. The motel is not waterfront but close to it . We enjoyed our stay , a good choice for someone being in transit. Thank you

Very cosy accomodation. Very quiet, very clean and the owner was friendly. Perfect for an overnight stay! I would definitely stay there again.

The property looks horrible from the outside, but the rooms are renovated and very clean. I thought this motel is on the lake front when I read the description. It is not. There is still more than 1 KM from the lake.

The Happy Salmon is conveniently located along Hwy 1, check in is super easy, the room is clean and quiet. A great value if you are passing through the Shuswap, with great access to all the area has to offer.

The picture for the motel is misleading, I thought it was on the beach. Motel is on a major HWY so very noisy at night. Short 5 minute drive to the beautiful Canoe beach. Room was clean, staff are friendly, however the beds were so uncomfortable and all you get is HWY noise.

was not inpressed.mini t.v.bathroom door opens almost covers t.v. no counter space. hardly no cups .minimum coffee and toilot paper.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this property. The person at the desk was very nice and explained all the charges. The room was a nice size and minimally decorated, so lots of room. The air freshener scent is mild and pleasant. The kitchen has a medium size fridge(not the little ones) and no stove. The bathroom was fabulous. There is a large stand up shower and the shower head is very high for tall people. I did not need to look for restaurants but did not see any near the Motel. There was still a lot of snow so could not see what the yard was like. This was neat, comfortable and economical place to stay and I would recommend it.

Hotel Happy Salmon is very good value. We use it to break up a long journey from central BC to Calgary, especially with the shorter daylight hours of winter. The rooms around the back don't hear the noise from the nearby highway.

Owner was very friendly and understanding. The only downside is the motel is close to the train track and highway, so you will hear the road noises. Easy check in and out processes. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this motel.

Happy Salmon motel was a nice surprise. Although it doesn't look fancy from the outside, the suite is roomy and comfy. We have a quiet night and fully restored on our way from Banff park. Beds are comfy and unit have everything inside. Temperature was comfortable and unit was warm when we arrived.
