Our check in was nice, the lady was very personable. Our room was ok; bed was comfortable and room was clean. Bathroom could have been cleaned better, including used towels hanging behind the door. Property could use some love but price was inexpensive and sufficed for 1 night.

We stayed 4 nights and didnt receive room service any of the days we were here. We had to go to front desk everytime we needed something. Free breakfasts were availbe tovus but had minimal supplies and no drink option for people who dont drink coffee or tea. Also the room we stayed in was a non smoking room but smelled like someone had smoked in there the first day we walked in.

I shared with the front desk staff that this hotel was at the too 2 worst I have ever stayed at. First, when I walked into the building, all I could smell was Marijuana, the smell was very strong in the lobby and hallway. The room didn't smell thank goodness. Where do I begin? The carpet was very badly stained. Went to put my stuff in the mini fridge and the door would not close because it was so full of ice. They removed it while we were out for dinner. Upon our return, there was an item of clothing left behind. Went to plug in my cell phone and noticed a cord laying there, picked it up and it looked like it had been snipped, picked it up and it went to the phone. Took the phone to the front desk so they wouldn't think it was us and told them about the clothing left behind where the fridge was and they came and removed it. Thebed sheets smelled fresh at least, although in the morning found that they had some old oil stains on the foot area. Mold on the wall unit under the window. The shower, OMG. Turned on the water for my shower, they had given us a handicapped room. The shower had a handheld and a permanent shower head. Pulled the thing on the faucet to direct the water to the shower and water was coming out of both heads, only in the center, along with the faucet and the connection. Got ot of the shower and opened the towel to dry off and ended up with a longer, darker hair than mine on my body, along with noticing the other side had an old stain on it.

Disgusting towels, after asking for new ones we got even dirtier ones… room was dirty and stinky, breakfast consisted of old cereal that were sitting in digusting dusty containers for weeks. All night we were being woken up by some shady people doing shady business… avoid this place at all costs.

Room was basic. Half of the staff were great, the other half less-than-helpful. Breakfast buffet was very basic. Opened at 7 but no food left after 730 due to large tour groups and staff did not restock, even though breakfast went for a couple more hours. One employee, even when shown an empty 4L milk jug stated "there is milk".

I looked at 3 rooms they smelled horribly of BO. The carpets were stained and filthy yuck. The chairs were stained and filthy. The walls were patched with filler everywhere and not painted. There was hair in my bed. No mattres covers just a flat sheet. I couldn’t stay the night because I couldn’t stand the odor. Just awful mattress cover

Super 8 Salmon Arm, BC is Dishonest I'm very disappointed with my recent experience at the Salmon Arm Super 8. We booked 4 nights, and left after the 2nd night. I'm a 71 yo retired businessman. I know good business, fair business, bad business, and dishonest business. This hotel practices dishonest business. The hotel management lied to me about the refund in person, and on the phone ! They denied that they owed me a refund to Expedia ( who I booked Thru ) based on their cancelation policy. Another lie ! I contacted Wyndham Hotels ( the franchisee ) finding out that their cancelation policy is one day. Only then did the hotel agree in writing that they owed me a one day refund. I emailed the Super 8 asking for this refund, and left a phone message requesting a call back. But this owner / management team has chosen to ignore me. I asked Wyndham Hotels to get involved and they said I need to contact the hotel. Already did that with no satisfaction. So Wyndham and Super 8 have lost a good customer. Staff is just amazing!! Front desk manager if 10 stars. We stayed 2 nights and at times felt we were in a cozy ski chalet. Some folks may write not so nice reviews of this hotel.. however… it is not the Ritz Carlton… if that’s what you are expecting stay somewhere else. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Would have liked a microwave but it was just down the hall. The breakfast was basic .. but included!!! Coffee, cereal, toast, fruit, yogurt. If you NEED more than that… McDonalds is right across the street. This cozy “inn” is in a great location in salmon arm. For the price.. you get what you get … we will definitely stay here again if we need to be in Salmon Arm!! Again.. cannot say enough about the front desk manager!!

Our room was ok but could use a refresh. The hallways are dark and dingy and the grounds were covered in garbage and there were homeless people hanging around, we even saw dirty underwear lying under a broken chair at the smoking end of the property. I won't stay here again.

The first thing that showed us what was to be was the keys did not work in first room, had to hike back down two sets of stairs. We immediately noticed 3 other guests returned to desk also to get their new keys reprogrammed First room had no lights when the switch at the door was turned on- ended up there no lightbulb in the lamp Room 1 smelled very strongly of smoke Tv did not work in first room, when checking power outlets the dust and cobwebs behind the cabinet were very thick Same dust and lack of cleaning evident in room 2 that we were given after the problems continued in first room. Only two flimsy small bathtowels in first bathroom for 2 adults staying for 2 days. In second room both pillow cases on the bed were used and dirty, I switched back those pillows to the first room to get clean pillowcases. When curtains were opened in second room there was a partly drunk large drinking glass on windowsill and several sets of keys from another room also there Hallway did not get cleaned or checked all the first afternoon and evening- it needed food cartons picked up and to be vacuumed of mud and debris Old food in a Tupperware in fridge in room 2, sugar missing from coffee machine in room 2. Breakfast selection very poor choices- no decaf coffee choice or tea choice, no yogurt on second morning.
