Nice hotel, clean room. The in room safe seems pointless as it is not bolted down and could be easily carried away, it's not heavy. A big annoyance for me is that this hotel does not have wash cloths, so if you're used to that, bring your own. Otherwise, well located with decent breakfast buffet.

Everything went great. The room was in great condition and the bathroom was always well stocked. There were plenty of options for breakfast and the food was good quality. The pool in the back was spacious and just deep enough to accommodate anyone whether you can or can’t swim.

The check in was fast and efficient. The staff was excellent; Isabella and Erik were outstanding, so friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all questions, Erik made great recommendations for dining and sightseeing. He also had a slow draining sink in my room fixed right away.

5 Stars – Amazing Stay at Wish Hotel da Bahia!

I had a truly wonderful experience at Wish Hotel da Bahia. The location is ideal — close to the historic center, beaches, and great restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a perfect mix of modern comfort and classic Salvador charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I especially appreciated the relaxing atmosphere throughout the property. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Salvador!

I always enjoy my stay at wish hotel. The staff are great and very helpful . The location is perfect as you get better access to good places to eat outside of the tourist locations in Barra . I only stay here when I come to Salvador . It’s my home away from home .

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the Wish hotel. It's conveniently located in the heart of Salvador so we were a cheap Uber ride away from the main attractions. Breakfast and dinner were included (which was a surprise, didn't know dinner was!) and the food was outstanding! Not a bad meal the entire 5 days we were there. A fresh buffet for dinner with a lot of options. My only complaint is that they do need to update their rooms. They are a little dated. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it. We found out the Wish is the first 5 star hotel in Salvador and the art work in there has a history according to our tour guide.

Overall good hotel but needs renovating. Lobby area is nice however the rooms are very basic for 5 star hotel. Poor lighting in the rooms. Breakfast has lots of variety. Hotel service is very good. Location isn't great, nothing within walking distance and is not a safe area to walk. A few people have been robbed around the area.

We stayed in a family suite (separate rooms with a pull-out bed in the adjacent room). The suite and especially the bathroom were small. There was a dual HVAC system for each room. One of the systems was broken and the room remained quite warm during our stay. The Policia Militare were in the hotel daily and the hotel security seemed to be on constant high alert. It was a bit nerve wracking. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast buffet!

Overall, I would stay at this location again. My biggest issue was that I booked a triple room and they attempted to put me in a double room. They then took over 3 hours, multiple and multiple back and forks before I finally had to express my frustration and disappointment with the lack of a solution before they finally made us change rooms to a triple. Otherwise the staff were all pleasant and respectful, the two restaurants had solid food, the WiFi was reliable for the most part, and the room was spacious enough.

Almost everything was great, food was amazing. One worse thing we had was the plastic pillows. Such a beautiful and comfortable rooms have the WORSE touch you can have, the plastic pillows ?? I don’t know who would think that they are appropriate and comfortable, really?? Hotel management do not notice that even in the hospitals they give a better pillows ?? That was the only reason I am taking one star away. Otherwise hotel was amazing.

From the moment I arrived, the staff provided outstanding hospitality, ensuring a smooth check-in process and making me feel welcome. Rooms My room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotless. The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities provided added to the overall convenience. The housekeeping team did an excellent job, ensuring everything was fresh and tidy each day. Nearby Activities The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Salvador. It’s close to key attractions like Mercado Modelo, Elevador Lacerda, and Pelourinho, all of which are rich in culture and history. The beach is also a short ride away, offering a great mix of city and coastal experiences. Safety & Transportation I felt very safe throughout my stay. The hotel has good security measures in place, and the surrounding area felt secure. I used Uber to get around the city, which was very affordable and convenient. Drivers were easy to find, and rides to major attractions were quick and inexpensive. Food & Drinks The dining options at the hotel were fantastic! Breakfast had a great selection of Bahian and international dishes, always fresh and flavorful. I also dined at Casa de Tereza, which was an amazing experience with authentic local cuisine. The drinks at the hotel’s bar were refreshing, and the service was excellent. Final Thoughts Wish Hotel da Bahia exceeded my expectations in every way.
