Wow this place is so charming and classy (and affordable!). The a/c is a bit loud, turning on and off, but I turned it off and the temp was okay. I really liked this place.

The hotel is beautiful rooms are nice. I would definitely stay there again because of that. The staff on hand is very rude and cold, which was the worst part. I stayed there for two weeks.

The stay itself was excellent as well as the staff. Rooms were cleaned daily and really liked that there was a cafe open on site in the morning. My only concern centred around public access to the hotel in the evenings. As a female travelling alone, I don’t know if I would stay at that hotel again given the fact that anyone can walk off the street and come into the hotel.. I say this because on the Saturday night of my stay I saw two men walk across the street from the east side of PCH walk directly into the hotel and one of them followed me up the stairs when I noticed he was following up me up the stairs. I turned around and went back down the stairs to which he followed me again. There was no one at the front desk but thankfully my son was with me and stayed with me until this gentleman went into the elevator when he saw that I was standing with my son. It was a pretty scary moment and I would strongly suggest getting some type of Key card system that allows only Hotel guest access onto the property after 9 pm. If that can’t be done, someone should always be at the front desk 24 seven and someone with a security background. Other than that the property is super cute!
