The room was very clean and in a walkable part of town near the train station and public transportation. Never met the staff, but self check-in and luggage storage was easy. Had a great stay.
The hotel is under renovation at the time of stay, room is very spacious, walking distance to Mirabel garden (just across the street). Lots of stores outside. basically close to the church and a market.
The room was very comfortable and spacious even for a family of four. Everyone was kind and helpful. It is the perfect location to explore downtown. We especially loved our view of the castle!

Hotel location is great and walkable to various places such as old town, Mirabelle palace, etc. The room is nice too. My only problem is tve locatik. of the tv which is just above the desk. I hit my head several times. The breakfast was not worth it for the cost of €15. There is also no staff and guest service you need to call outside which was not clear aa there are no instructions in the room.
The shower and sink drains were plugged had to wait for someone to come unplug shower the sink was never fixed during our stay. The room was VERY loud. 3rd floor and we could hear the street noise (car doors closing) all night. All AI/electronic check in and checkout. Breakfast is ok - nothing hot and only 1 cup of coffee per person per day or they charge you extra. ‘Courtyard view’ was the next buildings garbage. Should be noted, the ladies working the kitchen for breakfast were lovely and sweet
The room was fine, it had air conditioning and a mini fridge which were uncommon on the rest of our trip, but I'm removing stars because of how inconvenient the self check in was. Call me old fashioned but I do not want to have to type in all my information onto an ipad to get the room card. When we arrived we spent 10 minutes typing everything into the ipad only for it to glitch and delete all our information, and then the payment reader didn't work so we had to go to the help desk on the 4th floor to have someone help us check in anyway. It would have saved us a headache if there just was front desk reception staff near the entrance like a normal hotel.
The front staff gave confusing information about the parking options and I ended up parking in the wrong spot and having to pay full price. Otherwise, was a great stay.
First time doing an automated check in. It was SO easy! Very conveniently located. Not a huge fan of the two comforters thing, but that’s just personal preference really. Breakfast is a great value!
The room was smaller than expected but beds were good. Shower was great. US travelers be aware of no top sheets and no wash cloths as seem to pretty standard in all the places we stayed in Austria and Italy. We did have issue with the nonrefundable cost- our flight was canceled so we had to cancel our first night. The cancellation fee was more than the price of the room.
Absolutely lovely room in an extremely walkable location. Beware that there are some people who may be experiencing homelessness around the church across the street in the evening hours. The check in process proved to be a bit difficult as I had paid, but the system wasn’t showing that I had paid so I had to go speak with a staff member. I didn’t love that the staff members are all on the fourth floor instead of welcoming you in the lobby, but as long as you know where to find them, it isn’t too inconvenient. Overall we really enjoyed the room and our stay in Salzburg.

We reserved and paid for the city-view room, but we did not get what we paid for.
They promised to refund us the price difference, but still haven't fulfilled that promise.
