“We had booked a deluxe suit for Rs. X/night, on arrival we told there is no air conditioning in the allocated room, only a small fan (on a day the temp was 37 degree C). I made a request for A/C & they charged additional Rs. X again (2Xs) for a Maharaja Suit. While there was A/c, it was very ineffective & the suit was a dump, in need for major reno & deco (door timber split, ceiling with stains & bath marble piece with rust & elegy. Also real rip offs selling desert activities (big thieves)....

“We loved our stay at Suryagarh and it exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Right from checking in, where we felt like royalty, to the spaciousness and cleanliness of the rooms to finally the staff (from housekeeping to the cafeteria to the pool) who were extremely professional and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort and make us feel at home. “We traveled as a family and occupied two rooms. The best thing about this hotel was its proximity to the tourist attractions. But the rooms were not specially clean (the bathrooms had a smell), when went to the reception desk the next morning someone was sleeping in front of it in a makeshift mattress, the food was greasy and of poor quality, and the dining room was open and exposed to the cold weather of the desert night.”
