The outside was not aesthetically pleasing and neither was the stairway, however the room itself was nice, well equipped and the blackout blinds were great. We did not use the stove because we did not want to stock up on things like oil and salt when only staying a couple of nights. There is no reception ...

Hotel Morfeo Residence
Cheap hotel for the location, walkable to both old Syracuse & Ortigia. Area is safe despite the grittiness. Hotel itself needs many upgrades! It does give a voucher to a wonderful cafe with great pastry & coffee options.
