"I rarely leave negative reviews, but I was unfortunately disappointed with my stay. After a long four-day trek on the Inca Trail, I had informed the hotel two days in advance of my arrival and was really looking forward to a comfortable, relaxing experience. Upon arrival, the room was quite cold, and there was no hot water (it seemed the water heater was not functioning). Additionally, the bottle of wine mentioned in the booking details was not provided—while not a major issue, it shouldn’t be advertised if it’s not guaranteed. I was unable to get the hot tub jets to work, so I would recommend confirming its functionality prior to arrival if that’s an amenity you’re looking forward to. The Wi-Fi was also down, not only in my room but reportedly in other rooms as well, which added to the inconvenience. It’s also worth noting that the hotel is located right next to a nightclub, so noise can be an issue, especially at night. On a positive note, the location is excellent—very convenient if you want to stay close to the plaza. However, overall, the stay did not meet expectations, especially given the circumstances of my arrival."
