"Fantastic place! Seconds from the water, minutes from the pier, and next to 4 restaurants.
Eduardo there gave me a free upgrade on the top floor. The views were amazing! I'll definitely be staying there again"
"The owners are very nice and the rooms are okay. I wanted to rank it higher because they were really nice, but in terms of value for money I don't the think it's the best in the area"
"This hotel is across the street from the marina this is where you will meet snorkel and dive tours. It is close to all of the restaurants and shopping "
"It’s a nice place and the staff were super friendly. Breakfast is a 10 out of 10.
It’s a 10 of a walk to the town. Taxis are readily available for $2. I would stay there again."
"The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great with an attentive and flexible staff who adjusted breakfast times for an early excursion which they helped us book (a 360 island tour which was also excellent and reasonably priced compared to similar options). They were also very flexible with early check-in and departure. All around a great value for our short stay in San Cristobal."
"Super cool artistic hotel. Reminds me of Barcelona.
Short walk to the pier but far enough that it’s very quiet at night.
Comfy bed, good AC!
Great staff!
Best market in town across the street.
Would stay again. "
"Awesome location, across from the beach and near the interpretation center and trails. The rooms were ok with a small fridge (that was very noisy), 20 random channels on a small TV, and comfortable beds. Great customer service when she was around (about half of the time during the day). The view from the balcony was really the best part.
We booked and paid online through Expedia but apparently this property didn't get the transfer. Not sure if this was a onetime issue with the worldwide...

"The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town. The room had a balcony and hammock, overlooking the harbor and ocean. Daily housekeeping and fresh drinking water were provided. Breakfast was basic but adequate, as is typical of South American hotels. We had an afternoon ferry, so we had access to the pool, towels, and coffee and tea. There were two pools, and a pleasant garden."
"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was updated and clean. The location was perfect right next to the pier and in the heart of the town."
"Wonderful stay! Rooms are spotless and the staff went out of their way for us. The shower was phenomenal! Would stay here again for sure. Highly recommend. "
"Review for Casa de Nelly – San Cristóbal, Galápagos
We arrived at Casa de Nelly with modest expectations, but our experience far exceeded them in every way. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and kindness of the family made us feel truly at home. They provided personalized advice tailored to our needs, answered all our questions with genuine friendliness, and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay possible.
The location is perfect—just two blocks from the Malecón (seafront) and about a seven-minute walk to Playa Mann. It made exploring San Cristóbal easy and convenient.
And let’s not forget the family dog—we even fell in love with him. Casa de Nelly isn’t just a place to stay; it’s an experience filled with hospitality and heart. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to friends and family."
"This is a family-owned and run hotel that is next to their restaurant and tour business. We soon became family even though we did not speak each others' languages. It is next to the water and pier. We loved sitting out front and listening to the sea lions bark and watch the crabs scurrying about their business. The coveted blue-footed boobie visited each evening."
