Flight of the Pelicans 🦅 Wildlife in El Cañón de Sumidero was not shy. We came across three huge pelicans perched in a tree with their water flippers trying to hold on tight. They were much more majestic in the air! Close as I can get to a pelican emoji. Maybe we his is more suitable. 🦆
Colours of the Cañón Feeling like a pterodactyl could swoop due at any moment and steal you/your hat! Cañón de Sumidero felt prehistoric in its lushness, kilometre high cliffs and prevalent wildlife. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, herons, pelicans and vultures all seemingly unbothered by our speedboat. What a special place!
