“The apartment was lovely and clean. Nice tasteful decor and plenty of towels. Very comfy bed. Lots of space and a pretty, rustic view from the two windows. The area was quiet at night so we slept very well. There is a kettle in the hallway to use and a nice selection of tea bags. There was room to leave luggage prior and post stay. There are two different sections to the hotel so ensure you are at the right one. I couldn’t open the door with the code but it turns out I was at the wrong entrance...

“A short stay, but full of warmth thanks to the amazing host. The breakfast was top-notch. If you’re heading to Lucca, this place is a must!”

“Two dogs barking all the time. No Ac. Toilet crammed. Exhaust fan making noise all night. The owner was the meanest person- talking to us as if we were staying free. Worst experience of our life”

“What a truly special place to stay in Tuscany. Zamira was a wonderful and kind hostess, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Breathtaking views from the hotel, delicious breakfast, and some great restaurants in walking distance. Would 100% go back and would highly recommend it to fellow travellers”

“This is the quirkiest hotel I have ever stayed in. It has the feel and decor of a 16th Century fortified town house combined with crazy art and ornaments. The staff were super helpful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Loved the honesty bar and the rooftop beer garden. Loads of great little shops and restaurants inside and outside the city walls and as ever friendly cats all over the place. Breakfast was great and you can help yourself to the homemade cakes, the real hit is the spinach...

Airco was luidruchtig. Onze kamer lag achter het gebouw. Eerder een perseelskamer dan een gastenverblijf. Restaurant Bistro was goed, ontbijt netjes en lekker. Zwembad aanwezig.

“Nice property inside and out. Giorgio does a nice job and he and his staff are friendly and welcoming.”
