Friendly staff clean facility. We did not sleep well as some of the housekeeping staff was using the room next to us for some sort of gathering. They were very loud and it took over an hour and a call to the reception to get them to quiet down. Not at all what i expected from a mariott

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen. Even though we arrived after the shuttle stopped running, the hotel proactively arranged a car for us. A huge plus: the coffee shop is open 24 hours, which was perfect for grabbing a late-night bite after 11 PM. The rooms were are clean and comfortable, as expected from the Marriott brand. We spent our morning walking the stunning grounds and enjoying a delicious breakfast buffet before the hotel coordinated our transport to the Sansa domestic terminal. After a stressful day of missing our return flight, returning to the Marriott was a relief. The pool and lush grounds were the perfect way to unwind. We also enjoyed dinner and a game at the bar. Traveler Tip: There isn’t an ATM directly on-site, but there is one in the adjacent plaza just a 5-minute walk away. Overall, a beautiful property only 10 minutes from the airport!

If we had thought about what activities we wanted to do beforehand we may not have stayed here, but we loved the property itself and the convenience to the San Jose airport. We upgraded our room to include the Executive Lounge which we enjoyed for the convenience when we didn't want to eat out and mostly for the unlimited coffee (amazing Britt Coffee) and beverages. The lounge also had a filtered water dispenser for your reusable water bottle prior to heading out for the day. The breakfast was comida tipica and an omelette bar - good but nothing special. Dinner in the Exec Lounge was also average. Veronica was our star server in the Executive Lounge! Pablo at the Conciege desk saved the day for us when our tickets to Manuel Antonio National Park didn't pan out. Bar 10 is great for watching sports on channels not available in the rooms. Shout out to Jose the bartender for his delicious cocktails.

This is the 5th time I stay here and it’s always a great experience! Highly recommend, the hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, there are plenty of dining options and great amenities such as pool, driving range, gym and spa.

This place is beautiful. In the middle of the hustle and bustle but on the grounds feels like you are million miles from everything. The grounds are expansive and very well maintained. The pool area is lovely. All the staff from Carlos the porter, Roberto on reception, Cindy in housekeeping and Sebastian on the omelette station, basically everyone we came into contact with were wonderful. Upgrading to the executive package is worth it if you are going to be doing a lot of excursions is so worth it, just for breakfast and dinner, both buffet style, is definitely the way to go. We will definitely be returning!!!
