Very pleasant stay, everything works well. Jorge is very helpful and able to arrange even with trips. He provides informations about the area, Alajuela, history and recommendations. Nicely organized place, all rooms are on ground floor, very safe and secured. It is very walkable and you can observe the nice and charming downtown of Alajuela. Close to the airport, since Juan Santamaría airport is located in Alajuela. Definitely stay here next time.

Great for value place where the host even helped us park our car into their secure parking lot and helped us retrieve our car. Would have preferred if there was a code to get in so we didn't have to communicate our check in time. Appreciated the AC, common kitchen. We didn't know how to use the hot water but realized afterwards that there was hot water.

Great staff and great location. A lot of the city life is within walking distance and very beautiful. The stay was amazing the owner really made it easy to live there for the few days that I was there. Would highly recommend it!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place felt like it was well kept. There was no table in the room, but there was a nice seat. There was also a common kitchen with a fridge that we could use.

I can’t recommend enough! We stayed in San Jose the night before our flight, after spending the week in Fortuna we weren’t sure what to expect. We booked a cheap stay, and it was fantastic! It was clean, safe, and comfortable! It’s inside a locked gate, with a safe place to park. It’s walking distance to plenty of food and shops. I can’t recommend enough!

We arrived at 1:30 am, couldn’t find a place and we didn’t have connection, but local helped us to find it. The place was clean and nice for $35. Much better than some $100 hotels in USA. So for 1-2 nights quick stop it’s a good place.
