We stayed in a private room. Everything as described and the location was awesome! We did wish there was a desk or a shelf so we could unpack our bags but it wasn’t too much of a hassle. Would recommend!

The space was really nice - the common areas were really cool and there is a bar area to get food and drinks. Everything felt clean and the staff were very nice and helpful! This is a great place to stay if you are traveling alone and want to feel safe, or to make friends - they hold events where you can mingle with others and theres so many spaces to hang out!

Room clean and comfortable, bathroom clean and good condition. Kitchen area clean and easy to use, staff very friendly and helpful. Location isn’t ideal, wouldn’t recommend walking anywhere as high risk of straying into unsafe areas.

Really friendly staff, very accommodating. Bed was extremely comfy. The only two downsides was the location as it is very close to the train line and the horns of the trains are fairly constant from the early hours of the morning, and it is very solitary to walk around at night.

So the staff were pleasant to deal with. My only concerns were water pressure and temperature were not consistent in shower. The YouTube app on TV worked 1st half of stay and no other apps or functions on the entire stay. Table against the wall had sticky residue which i cleaned and rug seemed dirty. Other than that the room and hotel were neat. My only other concern was the location of hotel is by a train track so you will hear that horn in early hours. For the the price it wasn't a horrible place to stay, just need those first few mention of issues addressed.

I stayed here for 1 night. It was my first time in a hostel and I was highly impressed. It’s very clean, well kept and safe (24hr concierge and locks on the entrance to building and your room). They have different activities everyday to socialize with other travellers. I will definitely will be staying here again.

This hostel is better than the pictures advertised, the staff are very friendly and respectful. Plenty of room in the main area to hangout and meet people. Front door is a buzz to open door, which I’m sure makes some people feel more safe. Hostel also offers massage services and I think they do 10 minutes for free with purchase. They have a small shop next door if you need snacks, drinks or a beer, in the back of the shop they have electric scooters you can rent. Staff are very lenient with things but are strict on the 12AM rule if you are out in the main area you shouldn’t be making loud noises which is understandable. There are many restaurants/ pubs close by here. La cali, China town, downtown are close walking distance from the hostel. Overall the only thing I’m able to complain about is alcohol if you are drinker like me just walk to a bar nearby haha don’t forget to give the kitty pets he likes to hangout by this hostel a lot

Amazing hostel, loved the large patio! First time staying at a Viejero. Would stay again for sure. Fun activities available too! Maverick was helpful with my questions and brought great energy to the place! The mattress was not the most comfy but for one night only it was good enough!
