we loved staying at this place for a couple of nights when we arrived in Costa Rica. Margarita was so helpful, kind & friendly. the family room was great & we loved the pool. a nice quiet location but near enough to the airport. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Villa Margarita was beyond fantastic. Rooms were clean, staff was very accommodating, grounds were beautiful. Margarita went out of her way to make sure that you always felt at home and had whatever you needed. Very relaxing stay. Just what we wanted.

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Margarita. We needed a place for 1 night close to San Jose Airport and this place was perfect! Our complimentary breakfast the following morning was wonderful! We would highly recommend Villa Margarita to anyone needing a place in the area!

Margarita greeted us warmly and showed us our room. The resort has seen better days especially the pool area. The bed was comfy with nice linen but the kitchen needed a good clean. Luckily we didn’t need to use it. A breakfast was offered with various options. This is fine for a brief overnight stay.

Villa Margerita is an amazing cozy place to stay. The owner and the staff are super nice and make you feel welcomed. We spent one night in transition from SJO to the Arenal but ai would have spent more days just relaxing in the area. Defintely a 5 star!

We spent a wonderful night at Villa Margarita. Margarita made us a delicious breakfast and we both really enjoyed the pool and our beautiful room. Also really loved having all the sweet dogs around. Would love to come back and would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay.

Charming and so welcoming!

This is a very welcoming place to stay with friendly pets - made us feel at home although had all the character of a costa rican villa! We would book here again in a heartbeat! My boys loved the extra space on the grounds and breakfast and patios with hammocks were a treat!

It is a very cute place with a lovely pool, beautiful grounds, a very attentive hostess, friendly service and staff and good breakfast. Lots of attention to detail. Overall very comfortable and I will definitely stay there again.

Charming place. The grounds are beautiful. The room was large and nicely decorated, with comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious. There are dogs on the property. Very sweet and friendly dogs, but if you have dog issues be aware.

Wonderful

Such a fun place to stay for our first night in Costa Rica! Place was gated and felt safe. Family room was perfect for 2 adults and 3 teens. Gorgeous setting- lots of birds and beautiful flowers! Very sweet host and yummy made-to-order breakfast.
