"Owners very accommodating, let us stash our luggage there since we arrived before check-in.
Convenient location a short hike up the hill from the ferry.
Rooms very small and basic, more of a place to sleep than hang out. My wife said to think of it as camping, and that helped, but in that case maybe knock 20 or 30 dollars off the price.
We found a large spider in the shower which we took to live with a nice family in the country.
There was a sign saying to moderate hot water usage, as each room has its own on-demand water heater or something like that, but we didn’t encounter any issues as we showered together. We had
lots of water left at the end of each shower…and we enjoy our showers.
Shower together! It’s good for the environment, and it’s good for a marriage.
The walls are indeed thin as others have mentioned, but we didn’t have any real issue with this except for the morning someone at the nearby market decided to operate a forklift at 5am. Most seemed to do as we did and just use it as a place to sleep, and we were there over a weekend.
All in all, recommended as a very basic but more than adequate place to sleep at the end of your day’s adventures.
The owners clearly work very hard and are focused on making this a success."
