"The reviews we read had us worried, but our experience was wonderful. We had a beautiful room right at the water’s edge and enjoyed swimming in the pool. Although the washing machines could use some updating, we were able to wash everything we needed on-site.
The staff was kind, but be aware that if you arrive after hours, you will need to find your room on your own. We had no trouble because the maps were clear and the directions made sense. However, other reviewers are correct when they warn you to have your key-entry information saved or printed before arriving. There is no cell service at the property, so you will have to backtrack several miles to access your room information.
I would not really describe the property as a resort anymore. Different parts of the property appear to be under separate ownership. The mansion does not seem to be part of Rosario, there are no tennis courts, and the restaurant is also separately owned.
Overall, we had a wonderful time at Rosario and would gladly stay there again. Four otters splashed in the water below our room in the early mornings, and seaplanes flew in about once a day. It was quiet at night, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing."
