Wilde Party die ganze Nacht, laute Küchengeräusche, Tabakgestank der von den Kettenrauchern auf dem Nachbarbalkon durch die undichten Fenster ins Zimmer zog. Man bekam die ganze Nacht kein Auge zu. Das Frühstück enttäuschte...Instantkaffee, Kuchen und Croissant. Sofort abgereist und weitere Nächte storniert. Das klappe allerdings problemlos.

La piscina no está pegada al hotel, hay que subir una cuesta para acceder. El restaurante muy bueno un menu de 20 euros con tres platos y postre. La habitacion grande y limpia.

Bien placé
Avons séjourné une nuit dans cet hôtel idéalement placé pour visiter la villa romaine. L'hôtel est à rafraîchir, certes, mais dispose d'une belle et grande piscine et d'un bon Resto juste à côté.

Faites étape dans un autre hôtel si vous le pouvez
En recherchant un point d'étape pour une nuit, nous avons sélectionné cette ville et par conséquent cet hôtel. La ville est sans intérêt et l'hôtel est bas de gamme en terme d'aménagements. La chambre ne semble pas avoir connu de rénovation depuis les années 80, elle est plutôt exiguë et la propreté laisse fortement à désirer, les hirondelles ont même le privilège d'avoir des nids sur chaque balcon bâtis sur plusieurs saisons. Cerise sur le gâteau, le soir où nous y avons dormi, l'hôtel accueillait une noce dont nous avons pu profiter de la musique depuis notre chambre... Deux points positifs à mentionner néanmoins: le petit déjeuner est très correct, et le restaurant POMARA à proximité est typique, très bon et à un prix tout à fait raisonnable.

Excellent service. Great customer care. Clean rooms: perfect large clean pool. Be preqred this is a local hotel - staff speak no English but very kind and helpful. You need a car for this hotel. Very clean. Lots of local weddings so some nights can have loud entertainment/ good breakfast

The Pomara is clean, and its staff are very nice, but the tired furniture and rusty bathroom fittings could do with an overhaul.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, der Seniorchef spricht sehr gut deutsch. Auch im unterdem Hotel gelegenen Restaurant spricht der Sohn sehr gut deutsch. Mit dem Essen und dem service waren wir sehr zufrieden. Empfehlenswert weil ruhige Lage am Hang.

Für ein Hotel in dieser Gegend sehr schön. Nettes Personal und fruendliche zuvorkommende Bedienung. Waren als Familie unterwegs und haben von hier unser Ausflüge gemacht - so kann man locker 2/3 der Insel sehen.

Friendly hotel
Hotel was very comfortable, staff very willing and friendly. Quiet town/village, but Spar shop and newsagents close to. Excellent restaurant Pomara.

Hotel Pomara San Michele de Ganzaria Sicily
Hotel Pomara is on a hill - a steel hill! Access from the town requires a one in three climb, whether on foot on when driving. Location means that rooms that face north have spectacular views over the town and surrounding countryside. We stayed in mid February and the hotel seemed virtually empty. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially on the reception desk and the woman that organised the breakfast that consisted of bread and croissants, cold meats and cheese and a variety of fruits. There was also juice and coffee from the bar. The hotel organises conferences and has a reception room - that probably keeps the hotel open in the winter months. The first night we found that a locals 18th birthday party was being held - expect noise. The second night was a valentines night party with an extremely loud disco that kept me awake until the early hours of the morning. The swimming pool, in gardens above the hotel looks very good and the area is surrounded by mimosa trees. However we did not use the pool as the air temperature hovered only just above zero! The hotel has a restaurant in a building just down the hill from the main hotel. Food was excellent and very good value for money. The restauranteur was very friendly and helpful. We decided on the fixed price table d'hote each night and the restauranteur went out of his way to ensure that we had different food each time. everything we had was tasty, freshly cooked and there was plenty of it! We ate far too much! The location was convenient for visiting many of the tourist attractions to be found in the south-east corner of Sicily, from hill towns to Roman ruins.

Godt hotel i hyggelig by
Fint hotel til prisen, der ligger højt hævet og med udsigt over byen, og gratis parkering. Ligger omkring 20 km fra Villa Roma, som er hovedattraktionen i dette område. Men byen er super hyggelig og helt sin egen. Næsten ingen turister, men summer af liv først på aftenen, selv disko for de unge er der i denne lille by. Ærgeligt vi ikke havde valgt en nat mere på forhånd.

Dette hotel er et rigtig dejligt familiedrevet sted, med meget rare mennesker til at betjene dig. Det ligger smukt og byen St. Michel de Ganzaria er en meget autentisk lille Italiensk by, hvor alle priser er ekstrem rimelige, servicen super og minimalt med turister.Hotellet har et skønt poolområde og morgenmadsdamen er en superdejlig dame, og så er der bare så stille og roligt.absolut anbefalelsesværdigt !!!! Hotellets restaurant er osse meget lækker og billig, prøv den flere gange.

OK mid range hotel with good sized rooms
Hotel is signposted from the town which makes it easy to find. It’s up quite a steep hill with its own car park. The hotel is also used for Sicilian functions which included a Fist Communion celebration on the night we were there making it rather noisy till latish at night with children running round. Our room was of a good size with clean comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was adequate. Staff and reception were friendly. Another couple tried the hotel restaurant for dinner and said it was very good and they felt good value for money (€40 for two as of May 2011).

Hotel bien situé pour une étape à caltagirone et Piazza armerina. Personnel tres serviable. Petit restaurant tres agrable. Piscine agréable. Point faible : hotel organisant des mariages donc bruyant la nuit si une partie des invités ont réservé des chambres ce qui nous est arrivé.

Hotel liegt mitten in Sizilien
Wenn Sie ein einfaches Hotel suchen sind Sie hier richtig. die Zimmer sind mit einfachen Möbeln ausgestattet, aber sauber. Die Betten waren bequem. Wir haben das Hotel gebucht, weil es in der Nähe von meiner Schwester war. Man kann aber mit dem Auto von hier aus zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten fahren und die schöne Umgebung spricht für sich. Tipp. Wenn Sie ein ruhiges Hotel bevorzugen, sollten Sie nicht zu Fasching oder anderen Feiertagen buchen, denn dies wird im Ballsaal des Hotels gefeiert und kann zu schlaflosen Nächten beitragen. Sehr zu betonen ist aber, dass das gesamte Personal sehr sehr freundlich war ;o)
