“The Knoll House Hotel has a lot of character and some charming communal rooms (a bar, lounge and games room). From the front loan you have an amazing view of the sea. There are also other facilities, such as the outdoor swimming pool that is a plus, especially on a warm, sunny day. It is situated in a lovely, quiet area by the Studland coast and just a short walk from the beach. We stayed in a room in an annex at the back of the main building and it was quiet and pleasant. “Such a lovely hotel , amazing view of the river , was given a upgrade wow it was a 2 bedroom apartment floor to ceiling window in lounge to relax and watch the boats sail by what more could we ask for . The food was all delicious, we had breakfast , lunch and dinner , staff were all very friendly . The hydropool in spa was relaxing everywhere was clean . There were a couple of niggles in the room , the bed was making creaking noises every movement which was a bit annoying so maybe the bedstead...

Like stepping into an Agatha Christie movie, beautiful furnishings of an era in history. The grounds were well maintained and we loved the Monet Garden - with deer resting near the pond, all very magical. Definitely worth an annual visit ”
