"Booked this on a last minute extension at Sequoia national park. I was originally staying at Visalia Marriott as my homebase but was pleasantly surprised at how much cleaner and comfortable Sequoia Village turned out to be in comparison. 15 min to Sequoia park entrance also helped a lot. The floors are a little squeaky (apologies to my neighbor below) but other than that I thoroughly enjoyed my stay"

"Surprisingly very good. Wasn't sure what to expect. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Chalet was modern, with a fridge, microwave, BBQ utensils and paper plates and cups. Just about all we needed. We were able to buy breakfast and they were happy to provide milk for our cups of tea! Good parking. Would use again."

"Gateway made us special the minute we presented at the front desk. This quaint small retro lodge with restaurant and bar is less than a mile from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. The old time charm remains. We ate at the restaurant all 3 nights of our stay. The menu is diverse, the food delicious, decor charming and the outdoor seating on the river brought the park’s beauty table side. Every staff member we encountered: waitstaff, housekeeping, bartenders and hosts were awesome and welcoming."
